With international headlines like "They've Become The Band That Rocks The Cradle" (New York Times) and, "The Australian Invasion Continues. Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman And Now...The Wiggles!" (LA Times), the Wiggles Safari Show took off in December 2002 around Australia to the legions of those already loyal fans. Now in their 11th year, the Wiggles continue to excel, their live performance ever increasing in technicality, impressing audiences young and old alike. Tour dates, which followed a November US tour and an appearance at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, included performances in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney & Brisbane An Avolites Sapphire2000 controlled all the lighting and conventional fixtures. Alex specified the Sapphire, enjoying the intuitive feel of the Avo, and especially the large number of “handles”. In addition to the 100 preset faders, the Sapphire 2000 has 20 pageable playbacks – all with electronic legending.
