What is there to say about The Wiggles except they are the tiny tots version of the Backstreet Boys.

Can someone help me out here, how does a 38 year old with no children review a CD, which is clearly not marketed towards his age group. I thought about borrowing a few of my friend's kids but most of them are too young to understand the wiggly wiggly world of The Wiggles.

I guess I'll have to use my imagination and resort back to my early childhood to give honest review of this CD.

There are total of 24 tracks, 8 of which have guest vocalists such as Christine Anu, Jimmy Little, Slim Dusty and Human Nature just to name a few. Some of the tracks are old classic "Top 40" songs, which have been updated and reworked for their fans.

Slim Dusty's big hit 'I Love To Have A Beer With Duncan" is one such track, renamed to become " I Love To Have A Dance With Dorothy". Great conversion, a very catchy song and its hard to believe that the original was about having a beer.

Rolf Harris does a version of his 60's classic ditty 'Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport". I loved this song when I was a kid, it's a fun plus very witty and I have no doubt the kids of today will love it just as much.

Being a fan of the 80's band Split Enz, there is a reworking of one of their hits "Six Months in Leaky Boat'. A fantastic kids version of an Australian classic, even Tim Finn one of the original members of the band joins in to sing the wiggly version.

The legendary indigenous recording artist Jimmy Little who has been enjoying a bit of a revival to his career sings along to " Morningtown Ride". This song is a perfect kids song, the original was sung by one Australia's first supergroup The Seekers.

Another indigenous recording artist, Christine Anu in also given a chance in join in the fun, "Tara Naba" is sung in her native tongue. Giving tiny tots the exposure to songs using the indigenous language is such a great idea. Christine's song is a nice little song for the kids to try and sing along with.

After listening to this CD, I can now understand their popularity and if I had children I'd be more than happy to expose them to the delightful fun of The Wiggles.

This music is aim specifically for a certain age group but this 38-year-old single male found the music bright, cheerful, happy and quite infectious.

Its A Wiggly Wiggly World is a very impressive children's CD and without doubt they are the Kings of Tots.
