Windows on Irondequoit Art Project

Two of our classmates have designed windows for this project. Both have been fully sponsored.

This public art project is the brain child of IHS Alumni Director, Theresa Werth. Rather than land filling the oak
windows being removed from the front courtyard at IHS during its current renovation into the school library, she
proposed having artists turn them into art to be auctioned for the benefit of the West Irondequoit Foundation.

The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1987 to provide grant funding to enhance the
educational programs of West Irondequoit schools. Since 1990 the Foundation has awarded more than a
quarter of a million dollars to enrich students' learning experiences.
