Williamson County Cycling News, October 2003

There is a new source for bike maintenance in Round Rock! Call Norman at 517-4916 to get an estimate. He even offers free pick up and delivery in the Oaklands - Brushy Creek area.

Lake Georgetown is getting some new mountain bike trails. Check the Austin Ridge Riders site for the work schedule. There is potential to build 25 miles of trails, if the manpower were available.

Brushy Creek Trail News: Work is currently being done to extend the Brushy Creek Trail out to Parmer Lane. The rumor is that the county is having trouble accessing some key parcels of land that are needed to extend the Brushy Creek Trail from Parmer to 183, and also from Brush Creek Road into Round Rock. The county has already spent $1.5 million to build the existing two mile trail.
