ONE;

To Tory Munch a trip to New York wasn't anything important except for the chance to skip school for a week. The fact her father lived in New York as a detective meant nothing to her; it never had or never would.

Shifting as she turned the motorcycle around the last corner to her father's work. Tory knew that this wasn't going to be usual week with her dad, since she had actually got him to go camping with her. Fresh air, dizzying heights, and smores.  The eighteen year old girl's smile grew seeing the station house come into view.

Stopping her bike outside the station, Tory pulled off her helmet and walked rather quickly into the house. Deep inside of her Tory actually knew her father would be less then pleased to see her. After all he had had three wives, one before her mom and one after.

Taking the steps two at a time, She entered the Special Victims New York offices and scanned for her father, who was busy rubbing his head and muttering to himself as he read a file. "Hey."She called to him as she walked over to him.

Detective John Munch looked up at Tory as she walked over to him. "Tory." He greeted her before going back to the file. It had been ages since he had seen her, so the way she looked obviously told John that she was healthy but it was the eyes that gave her away as his daughter. They were the same as his except with the cattyness of his ex-wife-her mother.

Finally looking up again from the case file of a rape against a Taryn Rivers, John noticed the blue motorcycle helmet in her hands. Obviously Clint, her new stepfather had bought her one of those noisy machines, which meant his daughter's days of walking on her own to feet were severally numbered. "Going some where?" he asked putting down the case file and attempting to give her his full attention- or at least as much that could be spared on a rape case.

"We, remember." Tory corrected. "The dizzying heights,Fresh country air, smores- we talked about it all last week."

Sighing,John was semi-glad that she had her mind on something other then partying. "Something come up Tory."

"You’re not bailing on me." Tory snapped at her father. "I had to beg mom for an hour while cleaning stinky dishes on even calling you about this trip! I got so nauseous I nearly horked and I hate horking!"

It was Tory's rather loud comment on horking that got everyone, including Elliot Stabler and his partner Olivia Benson-who had just entered- looking at the two. "Which wife?" Elliot asked Olivia softly as he looked over his messages.

"Second I think." Olivia replied, keeping an eye on Tory nonchalantly. She actually had never thought of John Munch as the loving father. And by the way Tory was acting, he obviously wasn't.

John went to say something as Tory continued to lay in on him. "Unless Your little green men have finally landed on the White house lawn to use the spa on Air Force One, I think you can spare a week to go camping with your only daughter."

A smile came across Elliot's face upon picturing John camping, especially with a teenager that he obviously didn't see that much.

"Unfortunately Tory. Work is a bit more pressing then taking a little camping trip."

"Little? I'm only here for a week! " Tory snapped. Grabbing her helmet, Tory headed for the door. "I'll see you at home." She muttered pushing past Elliot and Olivia.

"So John, which charming wife did that one come from?" Elliot asked.

Glancing at Elliot, John gave him a forced smile. "Hormones." He told Elliot bluntly before looking over the file again.

"Most Teenagers have them." Elliot told him bluntly as Cragen came out.

"What have you got." Cragen asked.

"Most of the bartenders hadn't seen the girl with a guy at the bar. They did see her however with a guy on the dance floor." Elliot replied. "And it seems like things were getting hot and heavy."

"Anyway it was consensual." Cragen asked him.

"He used a date rape drug." Olivia told her boss. "I don't think she was up for a night of dancing in the sheets."

Cragen looked at Olivia but didn't reply knowing that Olivia had a personal thing about rapist. "Keep looking. He couldn't have just disappeared."

“Split on Ice?”

“Banana.”

“No Bananas.” Jezzie Jacobi told the other two Secret Service agents as she propped her foot up onto the empty chair next to her. Glancing at her ex, Jezzie attempted not to stare but he wasn’t dressed in the regular uniform for secret service. Then again a suit and tie isn’t the best way to go for a jog in New York.

Tessa looked over at Jezzie as she wrote in Bananas. “You do this one all ready?” She asked her friend.

Shaking her head, Jezzie watched Julian leave. “Dang boo just go after him.” Her other friend Bling to her.

“Huh?” Jezzie asked, taking a sip of her fruit smoothie. “Julian. Nah we had our chance.”

“The affair with the cop ruined it right?”

Rolling her eyes, Jezzie stood up as she watched Nikolas Candelaria walked past the break room for the agents. “His name is Elliot.” She snapped at her friend.  “And he’s a detective.” She added before bolting after Nikolas. “Nik!”

Stopping the brown haired Diplomat son looked at Jezzie as came up. “What?”

“Where were you last night.” Jezzie asked him as the two continued their walk.

“I went out…” Nikolas told her. “You can’t keep me here like a locked animal.”

“Right.” Jezzie told him. “But we still have to know where you are.” She told him. “Call it American Protection Hospitality.” She told him with a smile.

Nikolas nodded and returned the smile. “You Americans.” He told her.

“Hey!” Jezzie told him playfully slapping him on the arm. “I’m proud of the good old USA.”

Reaching his room, Nikolas nodded. “So Am I Agent Jacobi.”

“Jezzie!” Jezzie shouted towards him after he closed his door. “Agent Jacobi makes me feel old!”

Behind his door, Nikolas smiled as he pulled out the picture of Taryn lying on the bed. She was beautiful naked…flawless actually. Lifting up his mattress, Nikolas pulled out the envelope of all the other girls and stuffed Taryn’s Polaroid in with them.

Monday, April 12

Kat Stabler glanced up at Drew Taylor as he and his friends came in tossing a football between the three of them. Shaking her head she buried her head back into her math textbook just as Drew spotted her.

“What’s the sum root of zero?” He asked Kat with a grin as he sat down next to her wrapping his arm around her.

“It doesn’t have one.” Kat retorted bluntly keeping her face in her book but her cheeks becoming red at the way Drew was acting.

“Damn.” Drew muttered. “Got that one wrong.”

“Maybe you should have studied.”

A smile grew on Drew’s face as He rested his head on Kat’s shoulder. He didn’t notice Tory coming in behind him. “Maybe you could teach me.”

“Leave me alone.” Kat Snapped at him rolling her shoulder forcing him to move his head.

“Come on Kat one lesson.”

Tory who had just walked by to hear Kat tell him to leave her alone stopped. “She said leave her alone.”

“Mind your business.” Drew told Tory as he rested his head next to Kat’s again who didn’t like it as she attempted to move away.

Grabbing Drew by the pressure point next to his collar bone, Tory pulled him up and then twisted the jocks arm behind his shoulder before slamming him against the wall. “Leave her be.” She ordered him before letting go.

“I don’t have to do anything!” Drew snapped grabbing Tory by the shoulder to turn her around.

He however didn’t have time to react when Tory grabbed his hand and literally pulled him over her shoulder. Twisting his arm back, Tory gave him a sarcastic smile. “Leave her be.”

Kat watched as Tory let Drew go. Letting her eyes follow Tory back out since it seemed like the girl had suddenly become unwelcomed, she grabbed her math books and followed her out. “That was amazing.”

“Keeps me busy.” Tory told her fishing out her keys.

“Could you show me?”

“I don’t teach.” Tory snapped back. She went to add something else as her stomach growled.

“Listen my place isn’t that far from here…Let me at least get you something to eat.” Kat offered. “Least I can do.”

“Need a lift?” Tory asked after a minute of fidgeting with her keys.

A faint smile came over Kat’s lips. “On that?”

“Problem?” Tory asked. She watched Kat shake her head no. “Tory.”

“Kat.” Tory gave Kat a quick smile before taking the books and stashing them in the seat compartment. “What should I do?”

Hold on.” Tory replied as she got on the bike with Kat behind her. Starting the motorcycle the two took off towards the Stabler house.

FOUR:

By the time Elliot Stabler got home he was tired and hungry. No one had seemingly heard of Taryn Rivers and everybody that had only saw her dancing not drinking with a guy who apparently became the invisible man at will. Looking at the ceiling, which also was his daughter Kat’s floor, Elliot groaned hearing the loud music. “Hey!” Kathy greeted him with a quick kiss.

“What exactly is Kat listening too?” Elliot asked.

“Don’t ask me.”  Kathy replied moving in the kitchen. “Her and her friend have been up there for an hour after running off with the potato chips and dip.”

Elliot groaned as the music became louder. “Do you know who her friend is?”

“Nope but she’s staying for dinner.” Kathy told him as Maureen came into the kitchen. “Get you sister.”

“Mom!” Maureen replied.

Elliot looked at his eldest as he took off his tie and then his coat and jacket. “Don’t whine.” He told the college girl, before loosing his tie. Elliot winced hearing Maureen shout up the stairs as she went to Kat about being time for dinner.

“My sister’s is always a pain.” Kat told Tory after they had reached the bottom stairs.

“Joys of being an only gal.” Tory told her with a smirk. Brushing back some of her hair, Tory stopped at the sight of Elliot. “Detective.” She greeted in a brisk tone.

Hearing himself being addressed as Detective, Elliot turned to look at Tory. “Tory.”

“You know each other?” Kat asked.

“He’s your dad?” Tory asked.

“Your’s know your hear?”

“He’s home?” Tory asked Elliot with a raised eyebrow.

Kat looked at her dad and then at Tory before placing her hands on Tory’s shoulder. “Who’s your dad?”

“Munch.” Elliot told his daughter.

“She was asking me!” Tory snapped at him. “That a problem.”

Elliot gave Kathy a look, but his wife gave him a look that told him to play nice. “I can give you a lift back after dinner.”

“Thanks but no.” Tory told him. “I got a lift.”

Now Elliot was worried. “Right.” He replied, remembering the motorcycle helmet he had seen Tory with that morning. He prayed as well that Kat hadn’t ridden on it.

~~

“You should have seen it!” Kat told her family as she rambled on about Tory’s ‘treatment’ to Drew. “He was acting like a total jerk.”

“Cuz he was one.” Tory told her after taking a sip of water.

Elliot smirked at that comment. Mark one up for a Next Generation Munch. He was also surprised that Tory had been pretty quiet the whole meal.

“I wanna take Karate.” Kat told her dad.

Coughing, Elliot looked at Tory. “Karate?”

“She brought it up.”

Kathy looked at Tory. “What is it like.”

Tory shrugged. “Hear it’s kind of Like a high energy Lamaze class.” She told Kathy with a smile. “Me…It’s a fun way to vent.”

“You got a belt?” Elliot heard his son ask.

Nodding, Tory swallowed some of the spaghetti. “Red.”

“That is so cool!” Kat stated trying to win her dad over into letting her get lessons. “I want be just like Tory.” She stated indicating she wanted to hold a Karate belt.

Tory however took it the other. Lowering her fork, She was silent. Elliot watched as Tory’s face changed slightly. “You don’t want to be like me.” She told Kat softly before excusing herself from the table and going out to the front porch.

“Why don’t you clean up?” Elliot told Kat and Maureen. Standing he was actually worried about Tory and the way she reacted. Most people would be honored if they wanted other to look up to them…Tory however didn’t.

Finding Tory on the porch, Elliot stayed silent until he had sat on the steps next to her. “Hey.”

“Came to shrink me or tell me to stay away for Kat?” Tory asked him looking away from him.

Elliot looked at Tory. He noticed right away that something was different. “Neither.” He told her bluntly. “Ten to one you wouldn’t take either to heart.”

Tory let out a small laugh. “One of em gets it.” She turned to look at Elliot who noticed that Tory seemingly had been crying.

“You okay?” Elliot asked.

“Fine.” Tory snapped at him pulling away from Elliot’s touch on her shoulder. Standing she moved to sit on the other side of the porch leaving Elliot on the steps. “I’m bloody fantastic.”

“Crying is not fine.” Elliot stated as he stood.

“Who said anything about crying?” Tory stated sharply. “Me I don’t cry.”

Elliot nodded, glad to see the Munch defenses were up. Clearing his throat, He looked at Tory. “You should get home… your dad will wonder where you are.”

“Yeah I’ll be you twenty on that.” Tory told him pulling out her keys. “Tell Kat I’ll see her around. You’ve got one kick ass daughter, Mr. S.”

Elliot watched as Tory bounded down the stairs. “Kick ass?” He asked confused before watching Tory speed away.

FIVE:

Tory of course didn’t go home. She wouldn’t go home since the great John Munch didn’t want her there. Pulling to a stop out side of a club Tory looked around herself. Clubbing in New York? She had never done that one.

Smoothing out her black jeans, Tory shedded her leather coat to reveal a white tank top, it wasn’t the best clothes but it was better then nothing. Slipping in, Tory reluctantly let them stamp her hand to show she was underage for drinking.

Ordering a fruit smoothie, Tory watched the people on the dance floors. “Animals aren’t they?”

“Something like that.” Tory told the girl that sat next to her.

Simone Flannery smiled. “Simone.”

“Tory.” Spinning to look at her, Tory noticed the beer in her hand. “Nice drink.”

“Want one.” Simone told her. Before Tory could answer, Simone had ordered and paid for a beer for Tory. “Drink up, I know the bartender!”

“Yeah me!” Tory replied. Getting up Tory ditched the smoothie and took the beer. She only lived once and well her mother wasn’t around anywhere and Tory doubted her dad cared any about her drinking anyways.

“Ladies,” Simone told her friends when they reached the table. “This is Tory.”

“Tory?” One of the girls asked. “What’s that short for?”

Tory smirked and sat down slowly. “Tourmaline.” She told them. “Call me that I’ll kill ya.”

“Tourmaline…” Simone stated. “Parents big on fucked up names?”

“Something like that.” Tory replied taking a swig of her drink. “So we gonna talk pissy names or actually do something.”

“Thought you’d never ask.” Simone told her.

SIX:

The next day, Olivia met Elliot on down on the squad room floor. “Coffee?” She offered him holding out a Sytrophome cup.

“What’s the rush?” Elliot asked taking the coffee from Olivia.

“Taryn had a friend.” Olivia told Elliot. Glancing over at Elliot She noticed his smirk. “Coming?”

Simone Flannery
2886 Wexler Route
Tuesday, April 13

“Simone Flannery, daughter to the wealthy family. Owns her own place.” Olivia stated.

“Daddy probably paid for College too.” Elliot finished. Knocking on the door, they only had to wait a few minutes before Simone groggily got the door. “Thought high school kids were in school this time of day.”

“Got a cold.” Simone told him bluntly with a fake cough. “Anyways.” She paused as she lit up a cigarette. “It’s not like the parents care about it.”

Olivia looked over at Elliot with a sigh. More money then sense…it seemed. “We need to talk to you about a Taryn Rivers.”

“Tary?” Simone asked offering them a seat at the kitchen table. “What about her?”

“She’s dead.” Elliot told her bluntly. “You were the last person she was with?”

Simone looked up at Elliot. “Tary?” She asked confused. “No way. Tary was always swinging it with the same guy every night.”

“Which was?”

Simone gave a small Shrug. “Nikolas something.” She told them.

“Your gonna have to do better then that.” Olivia told her.

“Ask the bartender.” Simone replied. “He’s got a huge tab over there. Pays for all the girls’ drinks.”

Elliot looked at Simone. “Nikolas.” He watched the girl nod. “Drink some chicken noodle soup. Helps with the cold.”

Scowling as they left, Simone sank into her chair crossing her arms over her chest. “Thanks.”

SEVEN:

MACIVERS
4556 Flowder’s St.

Fin looked around the bar area of the club. “How’s the daughter?” He asked Munch as they entered.

“Like an ameba.” Munch muttered. “Came home around 3 am.”

Glancing at Munch, Fin shook his head. “Partying?”

“Didn’t ask.” Munch answered. Glancing up he and Fin both flashed their badges to the Al, the bartender. “We’re looking for a guy named Nikolas.”

“There’s a bunch of Nikolas’ in the world. Looking a phone book.” Al snapped at Munch.

“We had to get the cute one.” Fin stated. “He worked up a tab here. Drinks for the ladies.”

“So?”

“Got a name for Casanova?” Munch asked Al.

Al sighed as he pulled out the tab sheets. “What do ya know. Nikolas Candelaria.” Handing Munch the tab sheet he sighed. “Anything else?”

“Nah Thanks.” Fin told him.

~~

Elliot looked at Fin as he and Olivia got out of the car and looked at the monstrous size house in front of them. “Rich people and size.” He heard Olivia mutter.

“Let’s just get the boy.” Elliot stated as he pulled out the search warrant. Cabot’s replacement, thanks to the vacation she was on, had been easier to get the warrant from. Probably because the guy is new.

Knocking on the door, Elliot pushed his way in past the maid. “Nikolas Candelaria!” He called out and watched as the teen came in from the kitchen. “We have the right to search the place.” He told Nikolas Slapping the search warrant into Nikolas’ hands.

“Like hell you do.”

Elliot froze. Turning he turned to look at Jezzie and the other secret service agents that had followed Nikolas. “Agent Jacobi.” He looked over at Julian and swallowed. “Agent Cole.”

“Detective Stabler.” Jezzie told Elliot. She fought back the smile on seeing her friend but didn’t say anything around being happy to see him.

Olivia looked at Jezzie. The woman Elliot had an affair with…well rumored that he did. She of course believed that her partner didn’t.

“Agent Jacobi we have the right to search the premise.”

“I have what you call Diplomatic immunity.” Nikolas told Elliot with a smirk. “This here is well Greek property.”

Julian shrugged. “In other words…get out.” Julian snapped at Elliot.

Elliot groaned and looked at the others as they backed out of the house. Turning he casted a glance at Jezzie before leaving.

EIGHT:

“So our main suspect is?”

“Nikolas Candelaria…son to the Greek Diplomat.” Munch told Cragen. “He was more then happy to have Secret Service remove us.”

Elliot looked at Munch. “They were doing their job.” He stated covering for Jezzie.

“Like your girl?” Munch asked. “Jezzie Jacobi was it?”

Cragen looked at Elliot. “My office.” He told Elliot quickly.

Following his boss, Elliot closed the door behind him. “Capt.”

“Jezzie Jacobi.” Cragen asked sitting behind his desk. “This going to be a problem for you?”

“We’re old friends.” Elliot stated.

Cragen looked at Elliot. “That’s all?”

“We didn’t have an affair.” Elliot stated. He was sick of the rumor of him and Jezzie. They were friends both had denied the rumor and attempted to get on with their lives. Even though Elliot still knew that every time they were working to get or against each other it would be thrown up in their faces. Damn IAB.

“Will she be a problem.”

“No Sir.” Elliot told him. He of course left out the fact that Julian Cole, her ex husband would be.

~~

Jezzie leaned against the door frame as she watched Nikolas run around with the black labrador.

“What you thinking?” Julian asked her from behind.

Turning Jezzie shrugged. “Haven’t thought much since-“

“Elliot came here.” Julian finished.

“Since, Nik was given the search warrant.”

Julian looked out at Nikolas as thunder rumbled above them. “Why’s that.”

Silence fell over Jezzie. “Because for three nights in a row he hasn’t come home and never tells anyone where he’s going.”

“America gotta love them freedoms.” Julian told her. “The kids got just as many freedoms to do what we do.”

“And get away with what we can’t.” Jezzie added as she walked inside the house.

Julian followed. “Are you saying that just because lover boy thinks Nik is dirty?”

Stopping, Jezzie felt her pager go off. “You put the ass in asshole.” Jezzie snapped at him. Leaving Julian, Jezzie went out the front to call the number. “Jacobi.”

“Jezz don’t hang up.”

“Ell, what hell are you doing. Accusing a diplomat’s kid of what ever you work on now.”

“Rape.” Elliot finished. “We just got the ME’s report. Ten to one the sample we got out of the victim, your boy did it.”

Jezzie was silent. “We need to talk.”

“When.”

“Tonight…Meet me in the park.”

“You’ll find me?” Elliot asked glancing around him as he leaned against the stairs.

“Of course, Ell.” Jezzie told him before hanging up.

NINE:

The Munch Household

I got a two dollar stare
Midas in my touch and Delilah in my hair
I got bad intentions on the soles of my shoes
With this red hot fever and these chromium blues
And I will feel another lovers wheel
And drive for miles and not look back
And the love is real as the day is long
And the night is black
As black as night

His first reaction was to slap his hands over his ears as Munch moved back to Tory’s room. “Tory!” He shouted over the loud Melissa Etheridge CD.

Turning Tory’s hair fell in her face. Reaching over she turned down the rock CD and stood crossing her arms over her chest, causing the mid drift to rise up. “Yeah?”

“Want some dinner?” He asked holding up a bag of Chinese take out.

“Not hungry.” Tory told him bluntly. “Sorry.”

When Tory moved away form the bed he noticed the bag that she was packing. “Going some where.”

“Yeap?”

Munch crossed his arms over his chest as Tory tossed in a few pairs of Jeans. “Where?”

“Kat Stabler asked me if I wanted to spend the night. Seeing we ain’t gonna have camping and smores, I took her up on the offer.”

“Tory.” Munch stated not moving form the door way. “Where were you.”

“Playing the worried parent? That’s a new card.” Tory snapped. “I was out and about. This is suppose to be a vacation!”

Munch rolled his eyes. He didn’t know how his ex wife did it but handling Tory was a full time job. And it had nothing to due with black helicopters or where JFK was actually buried. Watching Tory leave Munch wondered if Fighting off bugs in a camping ground was actually worth missing work then having a teenager mad at him.

Stabler Household

“Dad! I would have told you but it was a last minute thing!” Kat told Elliot as she followed him around the house.

“I just don’t know about Tory.”

“But Mama said so!”

Elliot stopped. “Your mother said so?” He asked putting on his coat.

“Uh-huh!” Kat replied as Elliot opened the door to the pouring rain.

“Fine.” Elliot told her. “But remember you’re in charge then.”

“Fine!” Kat called as she bolted back up the stairs.

“You’re welcome!” Elliot called as he left the house. Getting into his car and drove silently to the park. He hadn’t met Jezzie like this in a while. Their last meeting had been when her divorce to Julian had been finalized. And then it had been to be a shoulder to cry one.

Elliot actually didn’t know how the affair rumor had started. All he knew was that Kathy had called him on it along with Julian, who ended up giving Elliot a black eye.

Driving to Central Park, Elliot looked at the woman sitting on the bench. Her clothes were soaked with water but when he pulled up Jezzie stood and walked towards the car. Opening the door, Elliot looked at Jezzie. “Cold?”

“Try Wet.” Jezzie replied. “Why did you want Nik?”

“I can’t tell you that Jezzie.” Elliot told her bluntly.

Jezzie glanced at Elliot as her wet hair fell into her face. “And I can’t keep his father from pressing charges against the New York Sex Police now Can I!”

Elliot looked at Jezzie. “No you can’t.”

“Will your DNA keep him out of the suspect loop.”

“Probably.” Elliot frowned as Jezzie handed him a tooth brush in a plastic bag.

“Clear his name Elliot. And I’ll clear yours.” Jezzie told him. “But that didn’t come from me.”

Elliot watched as Jezzie got out of the car. “How’s work?” He called to her.

“Stimulating.” Jezzie replied closing the door and walking away.

~~

Tory looked at Kat. “Come on.” Tory told her. “It’s just a little dancing and music…that’s it.”

Kat scrunched up her nose. “I don’t know.”

“What harm could happen?”

TEN:

Simone looked at Tory and Kat as the two came over to her. “Who’s the blonde.”

“Kat.” Tory told her. “Simone, Kat.”

“Hi.”

Simone gave her a nod in greeting. “Want something to drink?”

“Sure.” Tory told her. “Two beers?”

“Water for me.” Kat corrected.

“Beer and water.” Tory told Simone. Watching Simone walk off, Tory stood. “Come on…We ain’t got all night.” She told Kat.

“Where we going?” Kat asked pulling off her coat to reveal a black sparkly dress.

“Dancing.” Tory told her fixing her leather pants and then the white see through top. “That’s why people come to clubs.”

Kat laughed and followed Tory out to the dance floor. After a few awkward minutes, Kat soon felt at home. She did like to dance and was actually having fun not knowing she was being watched.

Up on the balcony, Drew watched Kat dance. Swallowing hard, he watched her dance with Tory. When Drew had first met Kat he never thought of her dancing like she was. He had thought she was just an indoor gal.

Meanwhile some one else was watching, but he wasn’t watching Kat or Tory. Nikolas moved over to Simone slowly. “Mind if I get those?”

“I got it.” Simone told him. Moving away from Nikolas, Simone reluctantly handed him her beer when he took it. “Thanks…But I had it.” Simone told him turning her back to him to set down Tory and Kat’s drink.

Nikolas smiled as he handed Simone her drink. “I was trying to be polite.”

“Be polite some where else.” Simone snapped at him taking her beer and then a swig of it. “I don’t need a person with a dick being polite.”

Nikolas smiled. “Fine then want to dance?” He asked holding out his hand.

“Maybe.” Simone asked. “With who?”

“A person with a dick.” Nikolas stated as he watched Simone take another swig of her beer.

“You know you’re kinda cute.” Simone told Nikolas as she drank more of her beer before letting Nik lead her out to the dance floor.

~~

2 1/2 hours later

Tory looked over at Kat as the two came laughing off the dance floor and over to Simone and Nikolas. “Hey.” Tory told Simone.

“Hey.”  Simone greeted holding her head. “I’m not feeling so hot.”

“Want me to get ya home?” Tory asked.

“I can take her.” Nikolas told Tory and Kat.

“How about you back off.” Tory snapped moving towards Simone’s side.

“No, just let me get some air.” Simone told them both. Standing wobbly, She made her way towards the door and then out side.

“Tory, we should get home.”  Kat told her.

“Uh, yeah.” Tory stated watching as Nikolas left the two of them and went after Simone. “Come on!” She told Kat and grabbed her hand.

Pushing their way through, the crowds, Kat and Tory made it out to the parking lot to watch Nikolas force Simone into his car. “HEY!” Tory shouted before bolting after the car.

Reaching the end of the club’s drive way, Tory stopped and looked at Kat as she caught up. “We have a serious problem.”

ELEVEN:

Elliot rubbed his hand through his hair drying it quickly before taking off his coat. “What is it John?” He asked feeling Munch’s eyes making holes in the back of his head.

“Tory.”

“Spent the night at my place.” Elliot told him. “Nice girl.”

Munch went to answer as Cragen came out. “Got another one.” He told the group. “Simone Flannery.”

Olivia’s head shot up and she looked over at Elliot. “Taryn’s friend.” She told Cragen.

“At Belview…listed in critical.” He told her. “You and Munch.”

Olivia nodded as she and Munch got their coats to go to the hospital. “Elliot my office.”

With a groan, Elliot hoped that it wasn’t over his friendship with Jezzie. “What’s up?”

“Two things… ME came back on that Toothbrushes DNA…It’s a match.” Cragen told him. “Second, Mikkos Candelaria’s lawyer called this morning. Harrassing his son, Nikolas Candelaria.”

“Capt…” Elliot stopped choosing his words carefully. “That toothbrush was Nikolas Candelaria’s. He raped those girls and he raped Simone Flannery.”

“Find out how.” Cragen told him. “Just don’t point the finger at the son of a diplomat till your ready to take him down.”

Elliot nodded before leaving the office. He looked at Fin. “Care to frame a diplomat’s kid?” He asked.

Resin High School

Wednesday April 14

“Et Tu Brutus…What did Caesar mean by that…Kat?”

“Huh?” Kat asked as she shot her head up to look at her English teacher. “Oh, um, It meant that Caesar was surprised to see that Brutus was one of the attackers.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because Brutus was his friend.” Kat replied as a messenger from the office came in. After a few minutes Kat looked at the teacher as the yellow pass slip was handed to her. “May I go?” She asked seeing that it was a note to for her to leave class and come to the office.

The teacher nodded. “Hope everything is okay.” He called after Kat watching her leave.

Reaching the office, Kat surprisingly exchanged the slip for a green early dismissal slip. “What’s up?” She asked Drew who was behind the counter.

“Your mom called.” He told her. “Hope everything is okay.” Drew added.

Kat gave him a weak smile. “Thanks.” She told him. “She say anything else?”

Drew nodded. “She’d meet you out side in a few minutes. Sounded like she was on the road or something like that.”

“’K…Thanks for the note, Drew.”

“Not a problem.” Drew called after her watching her leave. “So not a problem.”

Making her way out of the school, Kat looked around for her mother’s car but instead spotted Tory. “What are you doing here?”

“We need to talk.” Tory told her.

Kat nodded. “Call me.”

“But the family emergency.” Tory told her bluntly with a grin.

“That was you!” Kat stated.

“Of course. It’s Simone.” Tory called after Kat went to walk away. “She’s in the hospital.”

“How’d you figure that out.” Kat asked.

“I called in as a detective for the 31st.” Kat turned to look at Tory. “Come on…what could happen?”

“We could have to talk to my dad!” Kat replied. “Or your dad.”

Tory shrugged. “We saw what happened.” She told Kat. “Think that covers a few broken rules.”

“He’ll kill me.” Kat stated as she took the motorcycle helmet from Tory before getting on the back of the bike.

TWELVE:

Fin rubbed his face as he closed the file. “This boy is squeaky clean.” He told Elliot as he rolled his chair around to face him. “Ain’t nothing on him.”

“Other then he raped Taryn Rivers?”

“Um Dad?” Kat asked softly.

Elliot looked up to see his second eldest. “Kat? Everything okay?”

“Not exactly.” She told him as Tory came in behind her.

Giving Elliot a look, Fin sighed. Munch’s daughter too? This wasn’t good. “We know what happened to Simone.” Tory told them brushing some of her hair out of her face.

“How?” Elliot asked casting a glance to Kat and then to Tory.

Kat Shrugged sheepishly. “Cuz we were there.”

If Elliot hadn’t been sitting he would have fallen over. Kat had been at the club along with Tory. “Fin talk to Tory.” He told the other detective after he had found his voice. “Kat this way.”

~~

Fin looked at Tory as Elliot led his daughter away. Holding out his hand, Tory sat at her father’s desk while Fin sat at his. “You’re my partner’s kid.” He asked her trying to keep it civil.

“If he calls me that.” Tory stated crossing her arms over her chest. “I think the proper Munchism for me is…She Devil.”

A small smile hit Fin’s lips. “How you know that one?”

“He called it to me once while I had a fit.” Tory replied. “About the same time he swore up and down he wouldn’t return to Baltimore.”

Fin nodded. “How’d you know Simone.”

“We partied.” Tory told him. “Plain and simple.”

“And last night?”

“We partied…well me and Kat danced.” Tory told him bluntly. “Simone was drinking with some guy.”

“Catch his name?” Fin asked.

Tory shook her head. “Nope…Got a good look at him.”

Fin raised an eyebrow. This him?” He asked holding up a newspaper picture of Nikolas.

“That’s the Don Juan himself.” Tory replied. “Stuffed my pal into the backseat of a car and drove off.”

~~

“What were you thinking!” Elliot asked Kat sharply as he closed the door to the interrogation room.

“Dad, I know your angry.”

“I’m furious.” Elliot snapped. “Clubbing? With Tory and a friend that’s in the hospital!”

Kat sat slowly at the table. “We didn’t do anything wrong!” She told him. “We just were dancing.”

Elliot looked at her. Running a hand over his face, Elliot leaned against the door. “And?”

“Simone went to get some drinks.” Kat told him.

“You drank?” He snapped.

“Water!” Kat shot back defensively. “Simone had the beer. Tory had a smoothie.” She lied not wanting to get Tory into trouble. “Then when me and Tory got back to Simone, she was with this guy and she wasn’t feeling well…She left the guy went after her, then we went after them.”

Elliot looked at Kat. “Your grounded.” He told her bluntly trying not to loose it expecially with Kat. He’d of course have a thing or two to say to Tory but that was a different matter. “No more hanging out with Tory…either.” Thankfully, Elliot knew that Tory would be gone by the end of the week.

“Dad! She’s my friend.”

“Not anymore.” Elliot called as he left the room slamming the door as he did. Entering the main room, he pointed to Tory and beckoned her too him.

Tory reluctantly followed Elliot into the other interrogation room, just off of Cragen’s office. “What’s up?” She asked.

“You took my daughter to a club.” Elliot stated in a detached tone. “That’s what’s up.”

“Point?” Tory replied. “She didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Other then being underage!” Elliot shouted at Tory.

Tory backed up quickly. “Good point.” She told him. “She didn’t do anything wrong…She was a goodie girl.”

“A goodie girl?” Elliot snapped. “First she was kick ass and now she’s a goodie girl. You may not have anyone watching over your shoulder but Katleen is-“

“KAT!” Tory shouted at him. “For God’s sake man, her name is Kat!”

Elliot was floored by Tory’s shout. “Stay the hell away from my daughter.” He shouted at her. “Stay here.” He added before leaving the room.

Tory pouted as the door slammed but sat slowly down at the table. She wasn’t sitting for that much longer when her pocket started to buzz. “Hey!” She stated slapping her hand down on the pocket to see the text message. “Hey!” Tory repeated seeing Kat’s name.

Crazylegsdancer88: Watch the skies, Chicken Little Dad’s coming!

PinkPantherTrouble: Funny…he was all ready here.

Crazylegsdancer88: Sorry. What powers do Wonder woman have?

Tory smirked before answering.

PinkPantherTrouble: I’m more in the line of Aqua man myself.

Crazylegsdancer88: lol…Aqua man??

PinkPantherTrouble: Him and my Pink kitty.

Crazylegsdancer88: Pink Panther..How 80’s?

PinkPantherTrouble: Don’t diss the kitty!

On her end Kat laughed. She slapped her hand over her mouth hoping that her dad didn’t hear her or well then she’d really have hell to pay.

PinkPantherTrouble: ??? You there?

Crazylegsdancer88: Maybe…why you want to know?

PinkPantherTrouble: Because. It’s lonely sunshine. That’s why!

Crazylegsdancer88: Sunshine???

PinkPantherTrouble: Okay Partly Cloudy???

It was Kat’s laugh again that got Elliot suspiciously. That and he was heading back to talk again to his daughter when he heard it. Opening the door, He watched Kat with her phone silently.

Crazylegsdancer88: Try fouler weather.

PinkPantherTrouble: Ouch! His time of the month????

Kat laughed and tossed her head up to flick her hair out of her face. It was then that she spotted her dad. “Dad!” She greeted with a shocked face.

Motioning with his hand, Elliot silently asked for the phone. Kat reluctantly handed it over, wishing she had erased Tory’s last comment.

Crazylegsdancer88: Funny.

PinkPantherTrouble: uhhhh…Kat?

Crazylegsdancer88: Try again.

On her end, Tory’s face went white. She quickly turned off the phone as Elliot entered her room.

“Phone now!” He told her.

Relucantly, Tory handed it too him. “Well.”

“Your dad will be here in a few. Stay put.” Elliot told her leaving with both Tory and Kat’s phones.

“Great!” Tory snapped at the closed door.

THIRTEEN:

Jezzie looked around her as she entered the park. Jogging quickly down to the small lake, she spotted Elliot sitting on the bench. “You’ve seen better.”

“So has your charge.”

Jezzie raised an eyebrow. “How so?” She asked.

“It was him…he raped those women and he raped and beat another one last night.” Elliot told her handing her the file.

“My god.” Jezzie muttered, her legs going weak. “Elliot I can’t let you get him.”

“You’re protecting a rapist!”

“I’m doing my job!” Jezzie shouted back at him slapping the file against his chest. “All right!”

“The girl…last night was a friend of my daughter’s, Kat.”

Jezzie looked at Elliot. “Damn you that was a low blow.”

“Help me Jezzie.”

Shaking her head, Jezzie didn’t answer. Backing away she looked Elliot in the eye. “I can’t.”

~~

Tory looked at Fin as he entered the interrogation room. “Hungry.”

“Maybe.” Tory replied. “What you got?”

Holding up a bag, Fin smirked. “America’s finest.”

“Oh Donuts!” She told him.

That got a laugh. “Try Cheeseburgers.”

“Funky.” Tory replied. “We didn’t know that Simone was going to be grabbed.” She told him after Fin had handed her a cheeseburger. Picking at the cheese on it she looked at Fin. “Then we went after them but lost them after they pulled out into traffic.”

“You’re underage.” Fin replied. “All three of you.”

Tory shrugged she glanced up as Elliot entered followed by Her dad. “Time to face that grim reaper.” She told Fin jokingly.

Fin stood and looked at Elliot and Munch. He didn’t quiet understand why but he didn’t leave the room. “She saw the guy…so did Kat.”

Elliot was silent and Munch crossed his arms over his chest.

“He pushed your girl into the car and they went after him and lost him.”

“That true?” Elliot asked.

“Yeah.” Tory replied. “Even pointed out a pic of the jerk off.”

Elliot nodded as Olivia joined them. “Guys,” She told them softly. Watching them leave the room, Tory raised an eyebrow but went back to picking at the cheeseburger.

“What’s up?” Fin asked.

“Simone Flannery.” Olivia told them. “Died…15 minutes ago.”

“How.”

“Injuries.” Olivia told them. “Some one should tell them.”

Elliot looked at Munch. “It’s a fatherly duty.” He told Him before heading back to where he had stashed Kat.

Munch looked at the door to Tory’s room and then took a deep breath as he entered. “Comfortable.” He asked her as he watched Tory finish the cheeseburger.

“Needs a boom box.” Tory stopped. “What’s up?” She asked her dad noticing the face.

“Friends with Simone Flannery.”

“Yeah.” Tory asked. “Why?”

Munch was silent. “She’s dead.” Tory opened her mouth to say something but couldn’t. “Tory.”

“Get out.”

“Tory.” Munch stated again.

“Get out!” Tory screamed kicking a chair at Munch.

FOURTEEN;

Jezzie looked around her as she slipped up into Nikolas’ room. She didn’t actually know what Elliot had said really that had gotten under her skin but here she was risking her career for him. “Come on Nikky what you hiding?” She asked.

Rummaging through his desk drawers, Jezzie’s mind flashed back to the classes she had taken. Hide things were they are least known. Looking over at the bed, Jezzie sighed. Beds…Under or in.

Grimacing, Jezzie lifted the mattress. Looking around, Jezzie was about to place it back down, when her eyes fell on the envelope. Grabbing it, Jezzie let the mattress fall before looking in the envelope. She pulled away disgusted at the pictures.

“Can I help you Jezzie?” Nikolas asked from the door way.

Jezzie jumped and hid the envelope from his view. “Your dad.” She stammered. “He’s looking for you…outside.”

“Oh.”

“Yeah…Um I gotta go.” Jezzie told him. “Fill out some paperwork.”

Nikolas watched as Jezzie bolted. He had seen her with the envelope and now he needed something to keep her quiet.

~~

“DNA matches, Nikolas Candelaria on all victims.” Olivia told the group. “Including Simone.”

Elliot looked at the white board. “Candelaria however is hiding behind his father’s immunity.”

“Perfect Shield.” Munch agreed.

“Not completely.” Olivia stated. “We get evidence take him to the judge.”

“Least thing-“ Elliot stopped seeing Jezzie in the door way before backing out of the squad room. “They would deport him. Excuse me.”

Olivia watched as Elliot left confused. “Deporting works!” She called after him.

FIFTEEN:

Spotting Jezzie down the hall away, Elliot moved over towards her. “What’s up?”

“Not here.” She told him quickly and softly as Cragen passed them. Letting Elliot lead her down the stairs, the two were silent until they were out side. “I got something.”

“Like?” Elliot asked. He took the pictures and looked at Jezzie. “What are- oh.” He muttered seeing the pictures of Simone and Taryn and the other girls.

“You were right.” Jezzie told him. “You were right.”

“Jezz,” Elliot told her.

“No, Ell” Jezzie snapped as she faced him. “Now, what are you going to do about it?”

“Stop him.” Elliot told her.

“What do you need?”

Elliot held up the pictures. “These.”

“Keep em.” Jezzie told him. Giving Elliot a hug, Jezzie rested her head on his chest. “Cuz I don’t want em back.”

A smile crossed Elliot’s lips. “Fine by me.”

“Call me if you need anything.” She added. “More evidence against him and all. I want him gone.”

“Promise.” Elliot told her as he let her go. “You need anything?”

“Time alone.” Jezzie told him. “Yeah that would be good.”

“Thanks.” Elliot told Jezzie. Heading back in, Elliot smiled as he entered the squad room.

SIXTEEN:

Having a cell phone go off as soon as you enter a squad room is never a good sign. Elliot was now learning that. “Stabler.”

“Elliot.” Jezzie told him. “I got a phone call telling me not to come into work today.” She told him.

Silence fell over Elliot as he watched Cragen beckon him in to his office. “Something tells me I wish I had gotten that call.”  Walking towards the office, He sighed. “I’ll call you back.”

“You better.” Jezzie snapped at him before hanging up.

“Capt.”

“What are these?” He asked Elliot handing him several pictures of Elliot and Jezzie hugging.

Elliot looked over the pictures. That had been why Jezzie had been told not to go into work. “Captian…”

“Shut up.” Cragen snapped at Elliot. “You said this wasn’t a problem.”

“It’s not.” Elliot replied. “Jezzie is a friend. An old friend.”

“Agent Jacobi?” Cragen asked for clarification.

“Fine, Agent Jacobi.” Elliot retorted. Reaching into his coat, Elliot handed Cragen the envelope of pictures he had gotten from Jezzie the day before. “She got me those. Ten to one Candelaria is getting her back for stealing those.”

Taking the pictures, Cragen looked at all of them. “Stole.”

“She stole…I borrowed.” Elliot replied.

“So now she’s stealing from the Candelarias instead of just being a C.I.”

Elliot sighed. “Something like that.”

Cragen stood up. “Distance yourself form this case, Elliot.” He warned him. “I don’t want to know anything else about this girl. Just keep it work related.”

“That’s all it’s ever been.”

“Good.” Cragen replied. “Now, figure out how to get Candelaria and these crimes to stick.”

Elliot smirked as he walked out of the office. Candelaria was now targeting Jezzie and him. Something had touched a nerve. Swallowing he looked at Olivia. “What?”

“Thought you two were friends.” She told him.

“We are.”

“So you leave a briefing to talk to her.” Munch called over to Elliot.

“What you listen into everything.”

“Get walls built.” Munch replied.

“Jezzie and I are friends.” Elliot snapped at the group. “Friends…she’s the one that gave us the DNA sample and the pictures!”

Olivia raised an eyebrow. “So the sample was a consented one?” She asked.

“Not really.” Elliot stated. “Jezzie borrowed it in hopes to clear her charges name…didn’t work I talked to her and got the pictures.”

“From an illegal search.”

“They fell out from a drawer.” Elliot replied with a shrugged. “We going to work the case or what?” He asked quickly picking up the file.

Olivia shrugged as she picked up the file. “Fine…what’s the pictures about?”

“Souvenirs.” Elliot replied. “From Simone Flannery to the first girl.” He looked at Olivia. “She’s done a lot for the case.”

“Keep personal out of the case all right.” Olivia told him.  Elliot groaned but then buried himself back into the files.

SEVENTEEN;

I'm only happy when it rains
I'm only happy when it's complicated
And though I know you can't appreciate it
I'm only happy when it rains

You know I love it when the news is bad
And why it feels so good to feel so sad
I'm only happy when it rains

Munch sighed as he reached his apartment. He had kept Tory on a rather short leash the past few days and well he was frankly getting sick of the sad songs.  Unlocking the door, He opened to only find the stereo blaring. “Tory!”

I'm only happy when it rains
I feel good when things are going wrong
I only listen to the sad, sad songs
I'm only happy when it rains

I only smile in the dark
My only comfort is the night gone black
I didn't accidentally tell you that
I'm only happy when it rains

You'll get the message by the time I'm through
When I complain about me and you
I'm only happy when it rains

Munch glared at the CD player. “Garbage is right.” He muttered after finding the CD’s case.  “Tory!” He added heading back to her room.

Pour your misery down on me (Pour your misery down)
Pour your misery down (Pour your misery down)
Pour your misery down on me (Pour your misery down)
Pour your misery down

You can keep me company
As long as you don't care

I'm only happy when it rains
You wanna hear about my new obsession?
I'm riding high upon a deep depression
I'm only happy when it rains (Pour some misery down on me)

Not finding his daughter back in her room, Munch moved quickly looking for Tory. Swallowing he noticed that her motorcycle helmet was gone but unlike so many other times that she had gone form a ride, her bag with her cell phone was still on the table.

I'm only happy when it rains (Pour some misery down on me)
I'm only happy when it rains (Pour some misery down on me)
I'm only happy when it rains (Pour some misery down on me)
I'm only happy when it rains (Pour some misery down on me).

Tory was gone…and Munch had no idea where to look.

~~

Kat sighed as she looked at the door when the person knocked again. “MAUREEN! COULD YOU GET THAT?” She shouted turning her attention back to her history book. When her elder sister made no attempts to get the door, Kat reluctantly got up and opened the door. “Tory?”

“Come on,” Tory told her quickly.

“What?”

“Come on!” Tory snapped. “We’re going out.”

“Tory…I can’t.” She told her friend. “I shouldn’t even be talking to you.”

“Damnit girl. You always do what you’re told?”

Kat looked at Tory. “Where are we going?”

“Clubbin’”

EIGHTEEN;

“This is a bad idea.” Kat told Tory as they entered the club.

“No it’s a good idea.” Tory replied. “We find the guy…I kick his ass while you find a payphone a few blocks away and call your pops.”

“It’s a bad idea.” Kat replied.

“Would you shut up.” Tory replied. Glancing up she spotted, Nikolas. “How about you go find that payphone.”

Kat glared at her. “I’ll be at the bar.” She told her. “Try to get him talking about the rape and stuff.”

“Now who’s the cop?” Tory asked.

Kat gave Tory a cheeky smile. She then moved over to the bar and watched as Tory moved over to Nikolas. “Hey.”

Nikolas looked up at Tory. “Hey.” He greeted with a smile. “Want a drink?”

“Yeah…you gonna buy me one?” Tory asked as she sat down next to him.

“Maybe.” Nikolas told her. “What will you give me?”

“Depends on the drink.”

Nikolas smiled. “Excuse me.” He told her. Standing he walked over to the bar and ordered two more beers. One for him and one for his ‘date’. Stopping off at a table away from Tory, he added something to her beer. “Miss me.”

“Maybe.” Tory replied taking the beer. “Thank you.” She told him as they clinked the bottles together with a smile. Taking a sip of the beer, She held it with both hands. “Sad what happened to Simone.”

“Tragic.” Nikolas agreed.  He watched as Tory took another sip of her beer. “Do you know what happened to her?”

“Not really. Heard it had to do with Alcohol poisoning or some shit like that.” Tory replied taking another swig of the beer. She laughed slightly. “Funny that. I know that girl only had one beer a night.”

“I saw that part.” Nikolas agreed. “Maybe the bartender slipped something in her drink.”

“What like some fricking roofie?” She asked. Tory laughed and was silent as that actually fell into her mind. Glancing at her beer, Tory looked back up at Nikolas. “I mean a bartender…when exactly is he going to get away to have some booty calls?”

Nikolas shrugged. “His fantasy world right?” He watched as Tory nodded. “Something wrong with the beer?”

“No.” Tory replied taking a long drink of it to prove her statement. She then shook her head feeling dizzy slightly. “Wanna dance?” She asked him.

“Sure.”

~~

Kat sighed as she watched Tory and Nikolas dance. Her father was going to be pissed. Extremely pissed…not because she had gone out with Tory again, but because they were back at the club.

Standing, Quickly Kat looked at Tory as her friend nearly fell over. Pushing her away through the crowds, Kat kept her eyes firmly on Nikolas as he helped Tory out of the club.

Running out the back, Kat Jumped back as Nikolas’ car zoomed away. “DAMNIT TORY!” She shouted after the car.

“Kat?”

Spinning, Kat held up a fist ready to slug the person. Lowering it though, she noticed it was Drew. “Now’s not the time.” She snapped at him.

“What’s wrong?”

“Tory.”

“Tory?” He asked.

Kat rolled her eyes as she pushed past him. “The gal that flipped you over her shoulder.”

“Oh.” Drew told her. “What about her.”

“She’s in trouble.” Kat retorted. “I need to go. Talk to my dad.”

Drew swallowed and held up his keys. “Need a lift?” He asked.

NINETEEN;

Jezzie looked at the mansion as she watched Nikolas’ car enter the driveway. Watching him for a minute, She noticed him leading a drugged girl into the place before getting out of the car, sticking her gun behind her back and under her shirt.

Slipping in, Jezzie walked slowly up to Nikolas’ room. As she got closer, Jezzie’s hand slowly pulled out her gun hearing the muffled no’s coming form Tory. So the girl wasn’t unconscious he just wasn’t listening. “Get off her!” Jezzie snapped at Nikolas, keeping her gun pointed at him.

Nikolas turned to look at Jezzie. “Jezzie.” He greeted.

“That’s Agent Jacobi.” She snapped as she took a step back. “Get away from the girl.”

Backing away Nikolas held up his hands. “As you wish.”

Keeping her gun pointed on Nikolas, Jezzie side stepped to Tory’s side. “Hey.” She called to Tory slapping her gently on the cheek. “Wake up.” She told Tory who groaned. “I’m getting you out of here.” Jezzie told her as she went to help Tory up.

Her helping Tory out was cut short as she felt a sharp pain stick her in the back. Turning, Jezzie slugged Nikolas in the face before her legs started to go out. Using the wall as a brace, Jezzie attempted to move away. “What the hell did you do to me?”

“The perks of having a diabetic father.” Nikolas told her holding up the insulin container. He smiled as Jezzie’s legs went out. “I’ll get to you soon.” He promised as Jezzie’s mind faded to black.

~~

“Let me get this straight.” Drew told Kat as they sped to the Station house. “Tory is a detectives daughter that your dad works with. Takes Karate and can flip people over her shoulder.” He glanced at Kat. “And is presently drugged and being taken where.”

“I don’t know that part.” Kat snapped at Drew. “All I know is that my dad probably knows where…if he doesn’t kill me first.”

“Oh.” Drew stated. “That would suck.”

“Big time.” Kat agreed with a little laugh.

“I like your laugh.” Drew stated after a minute.

“This is so not the time to be hitting on me!”

~~

Elliot looked at the pictures as he and the rest of the team, save for Munch who had gone home to check on Tory since she hadn’t returned his calls all day, had reluctantly filed for overtime.

“Stabler!”

Turning Elliot was met with a fist to the jaw. Falling back, Elliot looked at Julian. “What the hell was that for?”

“Where’s Jezzie!” Julian snapped. He didn’t fight hard as Fin and another detective pulled him away from Elliot. “Where is she?”

“I don’t really know” Elliot told him. “And as far as I know she’s at home enjoying life.”

“You’re a liar.”

Elliot watched as Julian broke free of Fin’s grasp and came at him again. This time however Elliot was ready and got the Secret Service agent in a choke hold. “All I know is that she doesn’t need her Ex-husband barging into her life.”

“It’s your fault.”

“Wrong.” Elliot hissed in his ear. “You’re the one that didn’t trust her…not me.” He then pushed Julian away. “She was helping us though”

“On what?”

“On a rape case.” Olivia told Julian. “Involving your boss…Nikolas Candelaria.”

“Tory’s missing.” Munch told them entering the squad room. He glanced at Elliot who was looking right past him. “Yeah?”

“Kat what the hell are you doing here.”

“He’s got Tory.” She told her father quickly as Drew appeared behind her.

TWENTY;

“How the hell do you know that?”

“We went back to the club.”

Elliot wanted to punch something. “Kat!” He snapped. “What the hell were you thinking.”

“It was Tory’s idea!”

“Don’t blame this on my daughter!” Munch snapped.

Drew watched them agrue. “Damn it!” He shouted getting everyone’s attention. “What’s done is done…aren’t you going to go play knights in the shinning armor.”

Elliot looked at Drew. “Who are you?”

“A friend.” Kat snapped at her dad. “He’s right. It was stupid I know but Dad…Tory knew who it was. She was trying to help.”

“Where would he take her.”

“I know where.” Julian told them. He glanced at Elliot. “Where else would he go?”

~~

Twenty minutes later, Julian and Elliot parked out side of the mansion. “Who’s car is that?” Elliot asked.

“Jezzie’s.” Julian replied with a hoarse voice. “She’s here.”

“Christ.” Elliot muttered. “Let’s go play…”

“Knight’s in shinning armor?”

Elliot smirked. “Something like that.”  Getting out of the car, Elliot watched as the other’s arrived with the police backup. With Julian’s help the team moved quickly up the stairs where Nikolas was attempting to get what he wanted form a drug Tory. But Tory still had her wits and well had drawn blood in more then one location.

Using their shoulders, Elliot and Julian both pointed their guns at Nikolas. “Back off of her Nik.” Julian ordered as the police detail came into the room.

Glaring at them Nikolas pulled Tory up by the hair. “Diplomatic Immuntity.” HE told Julian as the other Secret Service’s agent’s eyes fell on Jezzie.

“Jezzie!” He shouted drawing Elliot’s attention to her.

“Take care of her.” Elliot ordered not knowing his daughter had followed them.  He watched as Julian moved to Jezzie’s side. “Let her go.”

“Tory!” Kat shouted. She screamed as Nikolas threw Tory to the ground and grabbed her.

“I could kill her.” Nikolas told Elliot. “And you couldn’t touch me.”

Kat went limp in Nikolas’ grip. “Daddy.”

“He’s your dad?” Nikolas asked. “Wow.”

On the ground, Tory shook her head. The whole world was spinning. Opening her eyes, Tory let her eyes focus on Nikolas and Kat. Stupid Blondie Bimbo Kat…her friend.

Stretching out her legs, Tory watched as one went in front of his legs and one behind. “Like a game of pick-up sticks. Played by fucking lunatics!” She stated groggily as she slammed her legs like a pair of scissors against Nikolas’ causing him to let go of Kat and the gun.

Getting to her feet, Tory let Kat and Drew help balance her. “Ass hole.” She told Nikolas who soon felt Elliot’s knee in his back. Looking at her dad, Tory smiled. “I did good?” She asked him before letting the drugs take her and falling into darkness in her father’s arms.

My immortal
I’m so tired of being here
suppressed by all of my childish fears
and if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
because your presence still lingers here
and it won't leave me alone

Resting her head on Elliot’s shoulder, Kat listened to Simone’s mother talk about her daughter. Part of her wanted to cry…but she didn’t know Simone that well. Glancing down at her father’s hand Kat felt him squeeze it before she felt tears start to fall.

Casting a glance across the way, Elliot saw Jezzie and Julian. Glancing down, Elliot smirked seeing their hands, clasped tightly together. Simone would have been happy about that…Anyone would have been happy with true love being brought together again.

when you cried I’d wipe away all of your tears
when you'd scream I’d fight away all of your fears
and I’ve held your hand through all of these years
but you still have all of me

you used to captivate me
by your resonating light
but now I’m bound by the life you left behind
your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams
your voice it chased away all the sanity in me

Tory kept her head up as her mind wandered back to the club to where she had first met Simone. Tears feel freely as she fidgeted with her black dress coat that covered her black tank top. Around her shoulder was her father’s arm. Resting her head on his shoulder, like Kat was doing two rows ahead, Tory cried as she head her face.

She would miss Simone, Her little ray of sunshine friend.

when you cried I’d wipe away all of your tears
when you'd scream I’d fight away all of your fears
and I’ve held your hand through all of these years
but you still have all of me

I’ve tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
and though you're still with me
I’ve been alone all along

TWENTY TWO:

After the funeral…the SVU family met back at the squad room. And not one spoke until Tory’s mother arrived to pick up her daughter. “John a word.” She told her ex before Munch led her into one of the introgation rooms.

“What are they talking about?” Drew asked Tory as he and Kat moved over to their friend’s side.

“Me.” Tory replied. “And they be arguing.”

“Oh.” Kat stated Tory’s mother came back into the main room. “See ya around.”

“Eh…Try writing.” Tory told her. “E-mail too.”

“How about I text message the PinkPatherTrouble gal?” Kat asked with a smile.

“That might work.” Tory told her after giving the others in the group a hug good bye.

“Tory!” Her mother called. “I don’t see why we even bother. John is just too into his work to even care about his daughter.” Zoning out Tory followed until they got to the car. “Get in.”

“No.”

Her mother turned to look at Tory. “Tory?”

“Good bye mother.” Tory told her before bolting back into the station house and up to the squad room. Stopping in the door way, She noticed the group still standing in silence. “Dad!” She called before running over and hugging Munch. “Can I have my old room back?”
