REASONS
Zelgadis is usually depress and thinks he's a freak. He needs someone to cheer him up and make him feel better about himself. Sure, Lina could do this but it would be more like a "Cheer up or I'll hurt you" way. Zel also needs someone to listen to his opinons and how he feels. This is where Amelia comes in. She is definitely the type to listen to other peoples' feelings and to try to make them feel better about themseleves.
Amelia needs someone who is understanding, intelligent and likes planning ahead like she does. Zelgadis is perfect for her. He doesn't usually go anywhere or do anything unless he has planned to do it. He also helps Amelia realize that not everything in the world is just right or wrong; that sometimes they are inbetween.
PROOF
-Whenever the group splits up into pairs, Zelgadis and Amelia usually go together.
-Zelgadis tends to lighten up and blush more when Amelia is around.
- During the battle with Gaav, Zel protected Amelia when Gaav was about to attack her.
-BIGGEST PROOF- At the end of Try, Zelgadis carried Amelia's bracelet around his canteen.
In other words:
ZELGADIS + AMELIA = LOVE!!
