100% Wool Filled Mattress Pads
A wonderful idea for those who need relief and comfort from fibromyalgia, arthritis, diabetes, and any other circulatory problem. The mattress pad keeps one warm in the winter, cool in the summer, no allergy's involved and a wonderful nights rest. It has been shown that "wool filled mattress pads" or sometimes called "underquilts" provide an evenly distributed weight support system that is not found in any other mattress pad material, such as, cotton batts, goose down and synthetic fibers.
Why is wool better?
The resiliency of wool fibers offers better support for your back, joints and muscles than synthetic fiber mattress pads or pillow tops.  In addition the wool serves as an atmosphere equalizer in helping to maintian proper body temperature.  In other words, a matteress pad helps you to stay delightfully warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.  During the summer months, you will be surprisingly cooler due to the evaporation of moisture from the wool.  The wool draws moisture away from your body.  The evaporation in the fluffy wool has a cooling effect.  During the winter months, the superior fiber texture of wool hugs the temperture of your body near your.  All of these benefits combine to offer relief from sleeplessness, back problems, sore muscles, arthritis, fibromyalgia, body cramps, diabetes, bed sores, and any other type of circulation problem
A Woolen Comforter is a wonderful to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. while being an economical way to reduce your electrical bill!
Wool Comforter & Matteress Pad Care:
You will get the best results if you wash your comforter in a large tub. Put warm water in the tub FIRST along with a reasonable amount of mild detergent. Then ADD the comforter. Soak. Rinse with warm water. If possible, line dry on a windy day. Additional airing on windy days will help keep your woolen comforter and pads fresh and fluffy.
The Wool Blanket:
It begins with the washing of the raw wool, which is subsequently dried and picked to remove grit and open up fibers. The cleaned wool is then carded (combed), and spun into thread. The thread i s then warped and tied onto the loom ready to be made into blankets. When the blankets are made, they are preshrunk and washed. Some blankets are dyed and others are left in natural shades. Finally, the woven blankets are dried "napped" or brushed to make them fluffy and warm, cut into blankets, hemmed and folded ready for sale.

The result is a unique blanket which is warm, soft yet durable, and as beautiful as it is practical.
