OUR FAMILY
We aquired our love for goats years ago when I rescued a poor wether goat that had been attached by a dog, shot in the leg and was left tied to a rodeo arena for dead.  Not expecting the goat to live we took it home and did our best to doctor it. Years later it was still with us and our fondness grew.  Our kids who have shown many types of animals wanted to show goats for 4H and that was the beginning of MNM Boer Ranch.

My husband  (Matt) and I (Kim) have three children, Brent Longway (14), Chantel Longway (12) and Cheyenne Miller (2).  We recently moved from Texas in 1996 to New Mexico. Matt is a Full-time professional Farrier and also trains horses as time permits. I am prior Law Enforcement (military) but have worked for the Federal Goverment now since 1990 as a Medical Administrator.  I am still in the USAFR, hitting my 20 year mark this year (2000).  My husband and I met on the rodeo circut  and both continued to rodeo for many years until recent birth of our youngest daughter.  We have both since retired (our bones are not as young as they use be).  We both have a love for animals and have many <g>.  Matt is a Licensed Falconer and currenty we have a Red-Tailed Hawk named Tara.  We also share our home with 5 dogs, 1 cat, 1 prairie dog, 4 horses and Bantam chickens.  Oops forgot two snakes as well <g>.

In 1999 we included Nigerian Dwarf Goats into our herd under the name of Buckeroo Nigerian Dwarf Show Goats.  We enjoy showing them and they are also our family milkers.

Showing and Breeding goats has been a family affair.
