On March 16, 2006, Eight Lady Wildcats traveled
3,082 miles by air to compete in the USGWA New England Championships in Bolton, MA.

The Lady Wildcats were led by Coaches McNally and Guiducci, as well as chaperone Patsy McNally. Not only was this the farthest any Wildcat group has traveled to compete, but they were once again the only team from California in a field that saw competitors from throughout the Northeast.

All eight Lady Wildcats held their ground against the fierce competition and each competitor came home with a hard earned medal.

Aside from the wrestling experience, the group was able to take in the culture of the greater Boston Area. Their several days in "Beantown" included a guided tour of Harvard University, a trolley/walking tour along the Freedom Trail and 1st hand visits to such landmarks as the Boston Common and the Old North Church.

Friendships were cemented with the Lady Wildcats as they also were able to bond over meals in Boston's Little Italy, the infamous Cheer's and even Chuck E. Cheese's.

Lastly, the friendships carried over from all this group experienced, as they led the Lady Wildcats Wrestling team to the 2006 California State Championship a month later!!!
