This is a wilderness hike for fit and active persons only.

Some of our most spectacular and
exciting river fly fishing starts
mid-September in the larger river.
October and November for smaller
streams and tributaries have water
and are literally full of coho salmon.
If you want to catch a salmon on the fly,
this is the place to be.
Chum salmon: October through November (rivers). Very abundant
numbers of fish. Best on the coast.
Steelhead: winter - January and February; spring April;
summer - July and August, first week in September (rivers).
Summer months are good after rain.
Small-mouthed bass: mid-May through October (lakes). Lots of
fish from boat.
