| While visiting in Mankato I had the chance to see the UW Badgers take on the MSU-Mankato Mavericks. Mom was busy, so I went to the game with my new Mankato friends: Brian, Wally, and Alec. Brian and I sat 3 rows behind the Badgers bench --awesome seats! I wore my Badger jersey but was definitely surrounded by Mavs fans, including these three young girls sitting in front of us who constantly heckled me. The Mavs went up 1-0, but the Badgers scored 3 un-answered goals to take a 3-1 lead. MSU tried to catch up at the end, but the Badgers won 3-2. |
