| The Windom/Jackson Eagles boys hockey team traveled to Eau Claire for their Holiday Tournament. The Eagles are mainly Windom guys, but there are a few Jacksonites on the team too. The assistant coach is a classmate of mine from Jackson, Dave Macek. As a proud Jackson Bluejay, it was weird for me to root for Windom though...but I did. The game was close until the very end when Somerset went ahead 3-2 and capped the game with an empty-netter. Windom will play host Eau Claire North in the consolation game on the 28th. |
