where are tom wopat and john schneider now??

**GOOD NEWS, GOOD NEWS..........
i feel like sheriff rosco now, but
i've got some good news for my
fellow dukes fans!! those of you
that missed the first reunion movie
that aired in 1997 will get the
chance to watch it again! cbs decided
to re-air the movie on friday, june 30
at 8pm eastern. if you didn't see it
the first time around, definitely make
the time to watch it this time around!
it is definitely a great movie!! it
will also be great to see good ole uncle
jesse alive and well again!
hazzard in hollywood finally aired
friday, may 19 in the dukes original
time slot. i was away for the weekend,
so i did not watch the movie as it aired,
i taped it and watched it a few days later.
i must say, after only watching it once
(so far),i wasn't as impressed with the
second reunion movie as i was with the
first reunion movie. after watching it
a few more times, i still think my opinion
is the same. i was so grateful to see the
group together again, but the second reunion
didn't have the spark that the first one did.
i was disappointed. i loved seeing hazzard
in the 90's.there were too many central
plot lines going on at once. too many
things were happening at once and it was
hard to follow at times. don't get me
wrong...i loved seeing the boys shirtless
and in love, but it also was so different
from the way we've always perceived the
duke boys! i don't know....maybe they truly
are moving into the 21st century, but it's
interesting how some things have changed so
drastically yet some things have stayed so
much the same!! well, the time has finally
come--i have made the time to update this page.
time has been kinda tight these days...my
job takes up a good portion of my time these
days. be sure to check out tom and john's
official pages for other news about their
summer plans! you never know--they may
be coming close to your house!! if you get
the chance to see either of them, definitely
take advantage of it!! they are both awesome
live!! i have had the pleasure of seeing them
both live and it was wonderful! i have seen tom
twice (muskifest 96 in bethlehem, pa. and dukes
reunion tour in hershey, pa. 5/98).
***(4/2/00)----i have added some terrific links
to different dukes sites i have found on the web.
take a peek and when you least expect it, i will
have found the time to update this page with some
new pictures and maybe even some new information.
but, for now you will have to live with some updated
links! i am looking for people who have seen tom on
broadway in 'annie get your gun' to give me some
insight on the show....how was it? i have heard
nothing about it from anyone who has seen it. i would
love a great story or review on the show!***
i have been VERY bad at keeping up with this page.
i apologize in advance for anyone that has come here
looking for new, updated information and came out
disappointed. i keep meaning to come and update, but
time has been flying away from me lately. i promise a
major overhaul one day in the near future. this is the
next page i plan on focusing on! i am sorry. for now,
i leave with you with the promise of a new, improved
dukes page soon! hopefully by that time, i will have
more news about the new reunion movie and some great
links. so, if you'd care to help me in finding some
great links, i would be glad to give you credit on this
page!! thanks!

**note that tom and john did
some of tom's 1998 tour dates together.
i saw them in hershey, pa. in late may
and they were wonderful!! check out my
tom page for the story of this amazing show
and my meeting with tom & john!!**

also, there is a wonderful dukes
of hazzard mailing list through egroups.com.
if you would like to join this list, take a look
at my tom wopat page and there is a link to join.
it is a free list, so feel free
to join!! it's a fun place to be and we look
forward to seeing you there!! i have a link
to the onelist page from my more page, so
you can access it through there also.
onelist has many lists, so if you're not a
dukes fan, chances are they have a list
there for you!!

my love of the dukes
it's actually quite simple.....my dad has always been a racing fan. in the winter of 1979, he heard about this new show called the dukes of hazzard. hey--they have a race car, let's watch it. i was only a 3 year old girl at this point in time, but the dukes came to be a part of my life. i watched religiously every single friday night with my dad. my brother was the one who got all of the dukes toys when they came out, but now i'm the one who's finding them and keeping them as collector's items! i remember certain episodes from the first time they aired, but now i have seen all of them and even have most of them on tape. guess you can say i trule am a child of the eighties!! but, many other people also share my love of the duke boys and their carefree look at life!
