Gone But Not Forgotten
These are poems I wrote about losing loved ones. Writing them helped me with my grief. I like to think they are Angels now watching over me.
"I'll See You When I Get There"

You left us yeasterday,
You didn't say good bye.
You departed so suddenly,
And left us to question why.
Your children how they cry,
They're trying to be strong.
We try to understand,
Why it all went wrong.
Everyone is talking,
There is only one thing we know.
We all shall realy miss you,
How much you'll never know.
Say hello to Grandma,
Tell her how she's missed.
You finaly be with Uncle Roger,
Please give him a big kiss.
I can see you now,
Showing your spirit up there.
Uncle Roger is smiling,
Telling the angels to beware.
I'm not saying good bye,
It won't be forever.
I'll just leave with this,
I'll see you when I get there.

"Everlasting Love"

Love doesn't die,
Even when people do.
They may be gone,
But the love still rings true.
You carry it with you,
The rest of your life.
It comforts in the lonliness,
And hold you tight.
You hold the memories,
That are your always.
No one can take them,
In your heart they are safe.
When life is hard,
You turn to that love.
They havn't left you,
They're watching from above.

"I'll Love Him Till I Die"

I'll love him till I die,
Though he made me cry.

He hurt me bad,
But he was all I had.

He was special to me,
And he'll always be.

My one true love,
There is no one above.

He held the key to my heart,
Right from the start.

From begining to end,
My lover, My friend.

You see he died yesterday,
There is no more to say.
