| Wondering what on earth happened to your contribution? Wondering why I did not put up your e-mail addie? Look no further, this section has the answers! I have decided to make this section to thank all contributors as well as to let past, present and future contributors know more about how I post their contributions. | RUDIMENTARY STUFF Can I contribute something? I was wondering if you would accept my contribution... YES!! I love to accept contributions! That is how I get to do some fascinating updates. You can send me anything, from fanfic, songfic, humour and anything you can think of that it related to TP. Unfortunately, i do not have enough time or creative ability to come up with a lot of contributions to my webapge, so I really appreciate all sort of contributions. I don't know if you have a section for my contribution... I don't know if the contribution is suitable... Let me be the judge of that. You can just send it to me and I will do the rest. If we don't have a section for your unique contribution, DON'T WORRY! I WILL find some place for it, if not, I will create a NEW section for it! That is how many of my sections started, eg. Tortallan TV. How come you haven't contacted me yet? It is because of two reasons... 1. *sweatdrop* Sorry! I am quite hectic in my studies, especially this year is my A'levels! My school has the unfortunate habit of giving us common tests every Saturday... =P So, I have to squeeze time to check my mail. BUT, I will read everything, eventually, that is. 2. YOUR E-MAIL ADDIE IS INVALID! Or I have no way of contacting you. It is unfortunate but true, sometimes the e-mail addies you send me are invalid, so when I try to reply, I can't. I would really like to contact some of you, but I have no means of doing so. You can either e-mail me again to inquire why and put your e-mail addie at the bottom or something, or look out for me crying "Desparately wanting to contact..." on my update page. |
| ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ DOWN TO BUSINESS SENDING CONTRIBUTIONS It would be most helpful that your e-mail title would state the contribution you want to make. Eg. "Fanfic - Alanna's Amazing Ant", or "Tortallan Humour contribution"... I would most prefer if you would send me the URLs of the webpages that contain your works. But if not, you can send me in attachments or e-mail at wildofre@yahoo.com I am really flexible in this point ^_^ if there is any problem, I will contact you or you can contact me! DETAILS When you send me contributions, I would appreciate it if you would include the following things... 1. Contributor name I know sometimes pple don't want me to put down the names they sign off with, they rather put another name. If you want me to put another name, i have no problem with that, just specify it in your e-mail. 2. Section Which section you want to contribute to. 3. E-mail or URL or any special notes I am more than willing to put up your URL(even if it is not TP related) or e-mail addie ONLY if you specify it! Also, any thank yous to anyone. This is for fanfics and such... 4. TITLE Very important! It is difficult to have a lot of untitled fics. 5. Summary You know your work better than anyone else and in which direction you want to take it. So it is helpful if you include a summary. Sometimes, I find it hard to give a summary when there is only one chapter or part to go on. 6. Links to any webapges that contain your work It is HIGHLY helpful if your work appears in a webpage some where and you send me the URL, it is easier all around if i just copy and paste from there. 7. PG 13 rating PG 13 rating is the most I will go, if you think your fic is PG 13, you can specify it. However, if I find that your fic is alright, I won't put up the PG 13 sign. Of course, if any of the details mentioned above is NOT MENTIONED or I am unable to get further details from you, then, I will do the following thing I call, BY DEFAULT! BY DEFAULT 1. Contributor name I will put down the name you sign off. OR if you do not specify any name at all, I will just put anonnymous or something to the equivalent. 2. Section I will put it in a section i deem appropraite. 3. E-mail or URL or any special notes I respect the privacy of all contributors. So NO e-mail addie or URL will be put up UNLESS specified. 4. TITLE I will probably put untitled or something to the equivalent. 5. Summary I will try my best to come up with one, though it may not be very good though. ^_^ 6. PG 13 rating I will decide myself and put a PG 13 warning on the work. However, if you do decide that you want the rating to be removed and want to replace the PG 13 work with an edited one, I will be more than happy to do so. |
| ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ ^_~ THE POSTING WHY DO I TAKE SO LONG? Sorry! *sweatdrop* Studies kept me away, coupled with computer-hungry little brothers! HOW DO I POST? I roughly post in the usual, first-come-first-post method. Except, I would post very short contributions first, as in, eg. I would post a contribution to "Tortallan Pick Up Lines" first, then a fanfic to "Tortallan Tales". It is easier and faster this way and visitors get things to see while I post more heavy things like fanfics. Note. I acutally start updating BEFORE you see it! What do i mean? I only put up the links (or tell pple I updated) to that contribution when I have posted EVERYTHING. So, if your fic is 10 chapters long, wait a little while. Probability is that I have 7 chapters up and need more time to put up the other 3 chapters. HOW DO I NAME YOUR PAGE? This is more for fan fics or new sections. My naming is really standard. I normally put the section name, then the name of the fic, then the page no. of the fic. eg. a fic called "GOLLY" under Tortallan Tales II. Would be probably given, http://www.oocities.org/TT2_GOLLY1. Of course, give and take that I would abbreviate now and then. Oh yes, if you are a regular contributor, I sometimes put your name in after the section name. On a wierd note, if you are really wondering if I am updating your fic, try guessing your page URL and if you are correct, you may actually see your fic in the process of being updated. ERRORS If you realise that i have any sort of error at all, or you find that someone has, touch wood, plagarised your work, do e-mail me wildofre@yahoo.com ! Otherwise, it takes me quite a while to get around to discover you have updated. If anyone has realised that I am missing updates, please do not hesitate to contact me at wildofre@yahoo.com SPECIAL REQUESTS If you have any special requests, I will more than willing to oblide if it is feasible and logical to do so... Eg. Like recently, Berenice of Queen Kalasin, requested that I link directly to her page, so now, if you go under Tortallan Tales II and click on one of her stories, you will find yourself on her page.
