Pizza Pork Chops |

Serves 6 Ingredients: 6 pork loin chops, 1 inch thick (about 2 1/4 lb) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup) 2 stalks celery, chopped 2 cups pizza sauce OR pasta sauce 4 cups cooked rice 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz) Directions: 1. Remove excess fat from pork. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork; cook about 5 minutes, turning once, until brown. 2. Place pork in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle onion over pork. Add sauce. 3. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 to 6 hours. 4. Place rice on platter. Top with pork and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. |
