March Warden Tournament Shire of Bois D'Arc Girard, Kansas 11-13 March, 2005

Here at last are a few pictures from March Warden, as promised. I will try to give more info later, but for now here's the quick n' dirty version:                                 (click any picture for full size)

House of the Red Dragon had a very visible presence. Not pictured above is Stryder the Unseen. ;-)

Axes - what a glorious way to start the day! Rory dominated the field nearly all morning.

Thanks to Master Alan having a few spare armor bits to augment my work-in-progress armor, I got to authorize!

The March Warden Tournament was a Swiss 5 Tourney, including: Knife throwing (above),

Javelin throwing (above), Axe throwing,

Crossbow (above), Bow and Arrow, Sword and Shield, Two Weapons, Polearm, Two-handed Sword, and Single Sword. Each round of archery/thrown weapons determines the number of blows taken in the subsequent round of armored combat. For more info, go to the March Warden web site.

This was a great event all around. Mistress Katrei Grünenberg put on an incredible feast and a great time was had by all.
