Trigonometry and God's Glory (11/99)

Does God really want me to learn this stuff?
Is it God's will that I go through school
with a partly tainted man-made cirriculum with imperfect
teachers?
(not that I'm complaining, I love my school)
Or is it one of those things
that God lets happen to teach us stuff He wants us to know?
(stuff that is more useful than what the teachers teach)
Or is it somehow tied into the same thing?
How often does God get what He wants?
God made man and gave man
freedom of choice
because He cannot force man to love him
for it goes against the definition of love
and if He changed the definition of love,
then He would no longer desire it.
(and God is love and God never changes)
God desires for man to give Him the honor and glory He deserves
for He is worthy of all honor and glory
many men choose not to give God
the honor, glory or love which He is worthy of
What would life be like for
one man
who chose to give God all the honor, glory and love He deserved?
one Man did
Jesus, God's son lived always in the center of God's will
How was he educated? How did he live?
What did he do for fun?
How did people react? How did he react to people?
Did he always obey His mother when he was young?
How did his mother react?
Did his mother ever spank him?
How did his schoolmates treat him?
Did he laugh at good jokes?
How did he react to the dirty jokes?
or when a bully ridiculed a clumsy schoolmate?
What kind of games did he play?

. . .
. . .
Who was He?
He can relate to us, can I relate to Him?
I want to be like Him
How do I live? How do I learn?
How do I act? How do I react?
We see so little of His life recorded
I want to see more
I want to choose to do God's will
I think we have what we need to imitate
daily choices and our time we don't want to give up
so hard a choice to do His will
He is worthy
