Singing is Fire

A mix of containing Richard Ashcroft and other tunes English and not, partly inspired by references to Charles Bukowski in a recent edition of LN. Songs include: For the Lovers by Richard Ashcroft, a rather impressive mood creator (remix). Second song blends in nicely, Singing is Fire by Pretty and Twisted, inspired by a Bukowski poem. Overall, if you are interested in the type of sound British Pop inspires, this would be a great mix to request a copy of. It strays from depression to angst to a beat that comes from a twisted melody out of that Chocolate Factory movie. What was it? At moments tt is kinda catchy in a Alice in Wonderland sort of way. Oasis makes an appearance with a nice song, Let’s All Make Believe. Jeff Buckley and King Crimson as cameo’s, plus other bands. Cool dark mix, a bit bluesy and a great introduction to many bands you never heard of.

Never Rush to Work

This mix is full of strange references you probably have heard of and even stranger ones you never have heard of. More importantly, it has some really cool rare tracks for those fans of Morphine, Francis Dunnery, Roy Harper, Smithereens...you name it. I could list more of the references on this and you will get the idea, The Cure, Richard Thompson, Billy Idol, Dave Matthews, Everclear... Leave it to Ed Sinawa to combine the oddest of ideas into an enjoyable listen.
