Bologna - 6th May
We woke up early, to beautiful weather, and spent the 3-hour train journey throwing a ball around to develop our cabin-saving technique). The city of Bologna is absolutely beautiful. It has its own leaning towers and comedy fountains, and seven McDonald's - quite unbelievable!
We decided to climb the taller of the 2 towers, and realised why nobody climbed it when we started to sweat like horses. Nevertheless, it was worth it. The tower gave us a spectacular view of this lovely old town, with panoramic sights of the countryside all around us. Which was nice.
As it was such a gorgeous day, we headed for the park, where we found a tethered balloon. We weren't going to let this opportunity pass us by. So, for 7 Euros each, we climbed hundreds of feet into the air, and took far too many photos. This also gave us the opportunity to oogle at topless sun-bathers (unfortunately, all of them were 50 year old Italian lardasses).

"What a fantastic view...hey look at that balloon!"
"...Now that's what I'm talking about!"
Ted: "Oh, I wanna be up there..."
