Issues at Grand Lodge 1900-1903
Flood relief to the survivors of the Galveston hurricane and the flooding that followed. Six Prince Hall Masons perished in the storm and its aftermath. Masonic Relief of $50. was paid to survivng widows.
Material prosperitiy of both the lodges and Masons, which had been in large part due to acquiring and investing in land. This prosperitiy also contributed to alleviating the issue of the so-called "Negro Problem".
Problems with Worshipful Masters running roughshod over the Grand Lodge officers were discussed.
Grand Lodge Relief doubled during this period. GLR was raised from $1.50 a year to $3.00 a year.
