New        Lysander

There is a a marvelous looking Westland Lysander Mk.II in RCAF colours being prepared by 'Old Wheat' and his mates. I've had a few flights in a beta version and can thoroughly recommend it... Great Idea. Larry.

  CFS2 Gmax Curtiss P-40M

Billy Fisken's 'Wairarapa Wildcat', a Kittyhawk Mk.III of the Royal New Zealand Air Force based at Guadalcanal in 1943.

There's also an inevitable shark's teeth P-40M Warhawk of the USAAC 51st FG based in China during 1943-44.

Be careful to alter the 'N' to 'M' in the "Sim=P40N" line in the Aircraft file, otherwise it won't show in CFS2.

       Curtiss P-40N Warhawk

At last a late model P-40 for CFS2. Two very colorful skins, 337th FG (above) and 80th FG (below). Hopefully we'll soon see some RAAF skins for this excellent Gmax model. Available at Simviation.

     PStrany's Fokker D XXI

Paul has released a simply gorgeous little Dutch Fokker with superb detailing. Check out the gun sights and control horns for the elevators. There are lots of beautiful skins; prewar, Blitzkrieg and Danish to go with it. (There is a link button to his 'Virtual Wings' site, lower right)

           ANZAC ANSWER

New version of Finn's Battle of Britain 247 Squadron Gloster Gladiator skin with a lighter looking camouflage.
This aircraft flew from the small airstrip at Roborough as part of the air defence of Plymouth, October, 1940. The Aussie pilot who flew it, shot down a Heinkel He III. You'll need Greg Law's Gladiator model to put it on. (Available at Netwings link button on the upper right.)

        Beaufighter Stuff

Come and get the new Flight Dynamics Model Pack suitable for all three versions of Colin Muir's Beaufighters, by James Banks, aka 'Magoo'. You can find the download  for the pack on the Beaufighter Modifications page.

 

Krazy is doing some amazing things to the dp files for the three different versions of Colin's Beaufighter. Check out the developments on the Effects Page. Mk.I guns and bomb loads.
