                Any additional TEKS not covered

Sixth Grade Honors / Gifted and Talented

Note to teachers:  We will have another meeting on August 6 and will further define the TEKS to be addressed.  Essentially all 6th Grade Science TEKS will be covered in Grade 6, and the 7th Grade curriculum will be a combination of the TEKS for Grades 7 and 8 with the Physical Science TEKS de-emphasized since these students will be taking IPC as 8th graders and will devote an entire year to Physical Science.
Physical Science (Use NEED Project materials and FOSS Mixtures and Solutions module.  Watch for further information about both.)
        Earth Science
Life Science (Use UTHHSC materials- click here)
        Environmental Science
           SEPUP Fruitvale Story
           Environment/Cycles
           Ecological Systems
           Project Wild/Project Learning Tree
