| Russell Ranch |
| Russell Ranch is a really cool old abandoned ranch at the end of a small canyon branching off from Butte Valley. We stayed one night there. I loved the place so much I'm looking forward to returning there some day and spending more time. |

| The Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. There is a wood burning stove that heated our meals and coffee and kept us warm all night. |

| The outhouse was a welcome luxury after spending several days in the wilderness. |
