Vampires are among the most feared of all creatures. Referred to as the children of the night, vampires are stealthy, intelligent, and as strong as steel. Their overpowering hunger for blood leads most of these undead to lives down the path of evil. Abilities: Blood hunger- you loose one life force point per x days. You must drink blood to replenish them. Humans have 1/2 point worth in them. You must totally drain the human (kill them) to get this amount. Light Sensitivity- you can't go out in the sun without being burned to a crisp. You can last in the sunlight for a time equal to your level in minutes. Regeneration- if wounded, a night in a coffin will heal the wound, but not regenerate life force points. Fangs- you grow fangs, allowing you to get more blood into you, and not onto the floor. You now can get 1 point per human. Tiger Leap- you can leap high into the air (about 3 stories). Cling to Walls- you can cling to walls and crawl on them as if you were a spider. Alluring Stare- you can put creatures into a trance by locking your eyes with theirs if your charisma + x is greater than their intelligence. Flight- you can fly. Cross Immunity- crosses don't affect you anymore. |

Weaknesses: Sunlight- see above. Crosses- due to an old curse, vampires are paralyzed when they see a cross bared directly in front of them. Garlic- vampires can't cross a ring made of garlic. Silver- vampires can be wounded (can't regenerate) by silver weapons. A vampire can be killed by silver peircing the heart, not wood. Mercury- vampires and mercury have a volatile reaction when touching. A vampire will turn to dust if shot in the head or the heart with a mercury-laced bullet. |
