| My first attempt was Philly's Cheese Steaks at 724 A 7th Avenue (between 48th & 49th Sts.) The meat was too fatty, the hot peppers were not hot enough, not enough cheese and the bread was not fresh. But, there was a rather substantial line outside the place, indicating the taste for cheese steaks in NY is big. This place is take-out only. July 2002 |
