Have just visited your site & checked out your walking, exercises, movie reviews, &, most of all THE CONTEST. I'm sure that, although you have
more stamps, I must be winning in some way or other. Perhaps more time
spent at each site?
We were able to get two stamps in NO, both in the Quarter, but neither
place had post cards! I guess that you will have to take my word for
them. We first visited Jean Lafitte- nothing more than a large office
with exhibits on the swamps, marshlands, and the like. When I asked the
ranger for something about Lafitte (I thought that they were supposed to
be knowledgeable), he pointed to a plaque which had one paragraph about
Lafitte. Basically, it stated that very little is known about him!
Other Nat'l site was the one devoted to Jazz. That was a bit better.
Concentrated primarily on Louis Armstrong. Again- not anyone willing to
explain the park. In order to get more stamps we would have had to
travel, & we didn't allow enough time for that.
