In 1989 it appeared that the Dixie-Narco factory in Ranson, West Virginia, was unable to produce enough vending machines to meet the customers' needs, even though the plant was running at full speed. To meet the need for more vending machines, May Tag Corporation gave Dixie-Narco an older Admiral Company factory that had made freezers in Williston, South Carolina. Freezer production was stopped in September, 1989, and for a hectic 9 months that followed into 1990, the entire factory was emptied of old equipment, a 110,000 square foot addition and new offices were built, and the factory was refitted with new state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. Also in 1990, Ardac was incorporated into Dixie-Narco as the newly formed Electronics Division.

Now, Dixie-Narco is proud to be a leader in can and bottle-vending equipment, arid currency validation markets, with the industry's most modern manufacturing facilities, and a parent company, May tag Corporation, which is a leader in the appliance industry.
