Led by freshman Jackie Johnson in a time of 17:06 for 30th place and Jaynie Cole in 40th place, 17:19. Britta Pederson, 48th, Vanessa Engelman, 51st, Danielle Erickson 61st, Carlie Freese 76th and Brin Hanson in 80th rounded out the Cardinal's lineup. These young girls have a great outlook, quoting one of the runners, "We are going to be one of the best teams next year in 2AA and our goal before we graduate is to get to state." A season marked by the numerous injuries is now over, but next year look for an improved girls team from Willmar. GIRLS RESULTS |
