| THE GYPSY SMOOTHER Fire, temperament, instinct, sensuality, passionately living life to the full. Valentino knows the different ways. Talks the talks, walks the walks... He's been there, seen it, done it all, Knows the crack... you know what i mean? Perhaps you've met this smoother in a shady club somewhere, drinking wine or chatting up some freerange chick... (if you happen to be female, most likely he noticed you first!) You may have seen him riding rhythm by a fire underneath the sky, making your blood flow faster on the beat of his heart. Capturing attention of his guests in most intriguing manner, increasing heat in a matter of moments.. Valentino likes to play with fire, in all means and ways you can imagine, for by taking risks, you live life more intensively. In the few times that Valentino has appeared around town, he made quite a name already. But how they speak of him is at least to call, well......erhm... dubious. There's just that little something about him that you can't quite trust... He just looks somehow like he's got an alterior motive, don't you reckon? He may come across as the most charming, sexy stud on the planet, but Beware! He has broken many a heart as it is. Though he might be a wanted loverboi, he makes an awful son in law. He is a beast, a sly seducer, womanizer. Don't turn your back on him when he is around, because apart from all the dodgy deals he does, he gets distracted easily when there is more beauty to be seen. If you know of an event where Valentino could spice things up a bit: don't be shy and give him a wink... He would love to take you out!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Drag is what you make of it. In fact, I think all clothes are drag. After all, we are born naked. Clothes are a great way to express yourself, to rebel against conformation of what society says you 'ought' to be. I feel like I am in drag when i wear a dress as well as going out as Valentino. I'd like to break through that 'box mentality' of gender. Male / female, straight / queer, butch / femme, just to name a few. I am like a chameleon, flaring out all coulors of the rainbow when people least expect it. Dragkinging is still quite unusual in the Netherlands. There are not many events to go to as a dragking, however, there is the Annual Dragking Contest in COC Amsterdam, organised by the Bitches of Eastwick.
