Rules and Regulations









ENTRY/PER CLASS LIMITS:
Entry unlimited to the number the shower can place on his/her 8 foot table.There will be no per class  limit for those who specialize in one breed.  However, please, please select only your best live show quality horses to show.  We do not want to be at the showhall til 1 am!

AWARDS:
Commercial flat ribbons 1st - 10th.  Division champion and reserves will receive rosettes..  Overall champion and reserve will receive large rosettes and CASH awards. 

SHOW TABLES:
Each shower will receive an 8 foot table.  Your show space is the space on top of the table and beneath the table.  Please do not block the isles.  Also, please do not set up your own extra table before checking with the show hostess'.  Seating will be first come, first served. 

CLASSES:
All classes will be open; not limited to skill, age or years of competition.

NAMHSA:
This is a  NAMHSA member show.  Each 1st and 2nd placing will receive a NAN card.  This allows that horse the invitation to attend the national show.

SPLITS/COMBINES:
MMM reserves the right to split a large class or combine small classes.

STRINGING:
Judges may make a cut in a large class by using the string method.  Models without a string will be called for removal by the judge.

CALLBACKS:
Champs chosen by callback of the 1st and 2nd placing horses.  Please keep track of your placings.  The horses will be rejudged on individual merit, not necessarily by points.

TAGS:
Please use your 3 initials on your show tags.  Front of the tag:  Breed and gender.  Back of the tag:  Horse's name and your initials.  Models must be put in the ring with the tag front side up (breed and gender).  Horses will be disqualified if tags are back side up (horse's name and your initials)!

SHOW ETIQUETTE:
Show respect for the judges, show holder and other show participants!

No alcohol or smoking in the showhall.  Live animals (except service animals) are not permitted in the Barry Expo Hall.

LIABILITY:
Security is the responsibility of each exhibitor.  The show holder, anyone connected with the production of the show or the Barry Expo Center will not be responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury.

ORIGINAL FINISH:
An original finish model is one which has not been altered in anyway, after leaving the factory, except for minor repairs.  This includes:  plastic, china and commercially produced resins.

CUSTOMS:
Custom is defined as any model that has been painted, sculpted, melted, reshaped or otherwiser remade. 


ARTIST RESIN
:
Artist resin is defined as any resin painted by the sculpting artist or offered unpainted, or any original sculpture from which resins have been made.

RARE CHINA:
This includes tests, custom glazes and small run original finishes (less than 50).

MIN
I:
Mini refers to stablemate or chips scale.    Please note Stone Pebbles will show in the Stone Division not OFP mini division
.  New this year- a combined Mini AR/CM division.  If there are large numbers in a class, we will divide the class into Mini AR and Mini CM.

HALTER JUDGIN
G:
Breed classes to be judged on breed standard, conformation and condition/finish.


PERFORMANCE JUDGIN
G:
Performance to be judged on horse's appropriateness for the task at hand, ability, correct fit and use of tack/props and overall appearance.  A showmanship entry must have a handler.  A cart and driver are optional for a harness entry.  Please include a card explaining entry with the exception of pleasure entries

TIME LIMITS:

There will be a 10 minute time limit between performance classes and a 5 minute limit between halter classes.  Please be prepared
