This site is dedicated to all the wolves and wolf-lovers in the world. In making this website, I hope to provide you with as much information as I possibly can about wolves, with wolf fact sheets, photogalleries, etc. Hopefully, you will find this site easy to navigate, as well as useful. If you are here for research, good luck! Though instead of using solely the provided information on this site, I would think it best for you to view my Links page. There, only the most informative and what-I-deem-reliable sites are posted.

Starting in the winter of around 1999, I became interested in wolves...greatly interested though the reason I don't know. Maybe the People series (bestselling saga of Prehistoric North America) written by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear inspired me, as the wolf was used over and over again as a symbolic being. I started out an inexperienced webmaster, using only the most basic html for my first wolf site. Later, I began thinking that that site was "just not good," so I started another one. Now as I look back that one was even worse! However during that time, I had started writing to different wolf organizations, asking for any extra free pamplets/newsletters that they might send to me. Generously, Wolf Park, The International Wolf Center, H.O.W.L., and the Wild Canid and Research Center all replied. As you may conclude, the fact sheets are primarily based off of the information they gave me, along with internet sources. Now, completely redoing my original fact sheets and everything else along with that, Willow Paw Wolf Den is going through its third renovation.

*** However, parts of this site still might be down because, as most of you know, school is starting soon...as in less than 10 days. I will try to finish everything by then.
