Last Halloween my youth and I put together this sweet Haunted House at a building owned by my church… The Erie Street Building, and yes that’s the real name.  We had a haunted corn field on the second floor, a spooky pumpkin patch on the first floor, and a black light maze in the basement.  Throw in various goons, ghosts, and witches as well as a fog machine and some “Jesus Loves You” candy and we had a pretty good youth group event.  Scare the Hell out of the kiddies and then give ‘em a Gospel message that’ll rot their teeth.  Not my most theologically sound event, but lots of fun nonetheless.  (We’re doin’ it again if you find yourself in downtown Adrian this Halloween.  And hey, our name is our address!)  This is a shot of me and two of my youth (Roy Varo and Sam Valdez) "working" on the maze.   You may recognize Sam from my World Youth Day pictures.  And Roy probably looks familiar from his brief stint in the WWF as the Varotious MW.  (Or maybe not.)  And of course you recognize me from all those other wacky photos I put up of myself.  Although this is a rather unique shot because it’s the first (and only) picture of me wearing a Barbie sweatshirt.  You may not, however, recognize Barbie, because I think the camera put an extra 10 pounds on her... umm... yeah... the camera.
