This picture was taken this past December at the National Catholic Youth Conference in a city that shall remain nameless due to some rather shaded history I have had in it. (No, it's not DC.) Anyways, this unusual fountain caught my attention because the figures on top of it had a remarkable resemblence to myself and some of the youth I brought down with me. (Namly Ricardo Valdez, Barron Roberts, and Sara Tirado.) And for those of you thinking... Ya, right that's just you guys standing up there, I would like to point out that climbing up into that fountain would be dangerous and probably illegal and I would never condone my youth doing such a thing let alone lead them into it by example. Ergo that could not possibly be us. But the resemblance is uncanny isn't it? |
