This photo stems from my European adventure I took back in March.  This is me posing with a friendly Czech Knight.  He was not  alll that willing to pose with me at first because, well to be honest I think he was a bit put off by stunning good looks and suave hairdo.  I finally won him over because he admired my courage in wearing black shoes with brown socks.  He told me it took a special person to wear something like that, and then he sniggered a hearty guffaw that I imagine only a European knight could get away with and invited me over.  I wonder what he meant by that... Oh well... Anyways, as a special treat this month I've included a:

The Ox’s Tale

Prologue

For most of my life I’ve been an adventurous guy,
I do crazy stuff, I don’t know why,
Coupled with the fact that as a klutz I’m number one
Makes being around me a lot of fun.
When I was younger I was accident prone,
It all started when I got my lip sown.
There were many a different burn, scar, and injury
Such as bumping my head, breaking my arm and breaking my knee.
In between injuries I kept very busy,
By doing enough activities to make most people dizzy
So far my life’s pretty good, in fact it’s going quite well
But right now I’ve got a story to tell.

Tale

There was once a squire who was not very old
He was a smart lad with a heart made of gold
He was unselfish and giving and wanted nothing
Well, that’s except for to meet his king.
He thought about how he could accomplish this feat,
Then he had an idea that was pretty neat.
He thought he could pose as a knight with a sword
He could get a horse form his father and armor from his lord.
The plan worked would work great and he would have a ball-
This delusion was shattered when he got to the castle wall.
The young squire could see the king in side
But out jumped some guards and he had no where to hide,
The guards asked him why he was dressed as a knight.
But he didn’t answer he just stood there affright.
The guards questioned again why he was here.
This time the squire overcame his fear.
He told them the story from start to end.
Then the guard called out and the gate opened.
The guard said to tell the story to the court and the king,
At this point the squire wished he never did such a thing.
After hearing the story the court filled with laughter,
And everyone lived happily ever after.
