Alright, I admit it, this photo is not all that wacky. I am just exploiting your interest in my zany antics to show off my baby sister, Pam (she is nineteen.) This is the day she graduated from boot camp last month. I am so proud of her. My other sister, Kathleen, is also in the picture. (Pam in the one in the Air Force uniform.) Alright, enogh of that. In order to compensate you for putting up with my gushing I have included a... | ||||||||||||||||
Bonus Wacky Story | ||||||||||||||||
And so anyway, I am flying down to San Antonio to see Pam's graduation, and I arive at Detroit Metro Airport only to find that my flight has been canseled. This causes compounded problems, because not only am I now going to be late, but I was suppose to meet my other sister and mother at the San Antonio airport later that afternoon. They were both flying out of Philly. So I was rerouted through Cincinatti and was going to arive down there about four hours after I was suppose to. There was not much I could do, so I called my step father and left a message, purchased a bagel and coffee with my $6 compensation coupon, got a magazine and waited for my flight. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, my mom and Kathleen were having problems with their flight out of Philly. Thier flight was delayed, and they too got rerouted... through Cincinatti. Fast forward to the Cincinatti airport... my mom is talking to the guy at the check in counter. She is telling him she has to get a message to her son who is already in San Antonio and tell him that she is having some flight difficulties and would be their very late. When the guy behind the counter got my name and plugged it into his computer, he told my mom that his records indicated that I was on the same flight as her. She then argued with him, saying that was impossible because I had a transfer in Georgia and should already be there. At which point my sister, Kathleen, turns around and noticed me, totally oblivious to the situation (as usual,) reading my Official Playstation Magazine in a seat about 10 feet away from them. Pretty crazy, ehh? |
