"Will's Helmet"

Here are a few pictures of Will's helmet Casting & a before & after shot of his head.  The progress that was made in the shaping of his head from
Aug/2002 to October/2002 is amazing!
The proper term for his mis-shapen noggin' is called Plagiocephaly.  It has variating degrees of seriousness & problems...
It's mainly noticeable by a "flat-spot" on the child's head.
The casting took a whole 5/6 mins (if that!) & it really didn't bother him other that he got a tad upset that he wasn't allowed to wiggle all over for this short amount of time.  & the end results were well worth it.
A "cheese cloth" was placed over his hair & lines were drawn where his ears are...
Will waiting for the plaster to dry...
A week later, Will got his helmet.
And doesn't mind it at all.
& doesn't he look CUTE!
:o)

Her offices are located in St.Louis, MO & Alton, Ill.
The web-site to Precision Prosthetics is

And as you can see below Barbara did a WONDERFUL job on Will's head.

Sleeping like a baby...Will never had a problem with the helmet...he didn't even really pay attention to the fact that it was there...
Any questions about the helmets email me, Shawnee or you can also email Amy, she had 2 boys wear helmets also.
