NEW BROKEN HILL CORPORATION HAULAGE AND SERVICE HEADFRAMES.

The first all – concrete headframes in Australia were erected at Haulage and Service Shafts in 1946, and a large mill commenced in 1952. The concentration mill and haulage shaft was refurbished in 1988 to take ore from both Zinc and NBHC Mines.

    And the Haulage Shaft was working by 1952
The Service Shaft came into operation in 1954.
