Wagon improved
Ok, after doing nothing on the wagon for a year I decided to spruce up the wagon. So I went out and bought two Radio Flyer wagons. I decided to switch over the wagon from a Roadmaster to a Radio Flyer. No one knows what a Roadmaster while everyone knows what a Radio Flyer is. So out came the saber saw, hole saw and the whole tool kit. First I built a new wagon that fit a lot closer than the old one to make it look a lot cleaner. This time I measured everything to make it fit. I started with the old one as my beginning point. I started cutting small so that I would not have large holes in the body.

I also decided to create a small wagon to tow behind for the kids to ride in. I had a couple of extra kart tires and rims sitting in the garage. Just needed a set of hubs that the local kart shop supplied for $40. While visiting my dad at the farm went through the metal pile and pulled out a 2” pipe. Found a piece of garage door rail that looked to be about the right size. Welded the piece of garage door rail at a 90-degree angle with the 2” pipe. Whacked the heads off two ¾ bolts and then welded on two ¾ bolts as axle’s to the garage rail. With the garage rail the same width as the wagon. Then on the front of the 2” pipe I first welded a large nut inside the 2” pipe then another ¾ nut. Ground the whole thing down to look nice. I had a extra Heim joint that was a ¾ bolt size with a ½ hole. Welded a bumper onto the frame of the wagon. Drilled a ½ hole in the bumper to hitch up the wagon. Took my frame and drilled a couple 3/8 holes in it and the Radio flyer wagon. Bolted the whole thing together and came up with what you see in the pictures.

Painted the frame, steering wheel, rims, axle black polished the wagon bed up.

Then went to the Autorama to show it off. Of course I forgot to take any pictures. But I did win another outstanding in class. The kids love riding in the wagon, showing off to all   the neighbor kids.
I flip the wagon
Last summer at a car show I entered the wagon in a burn out contest. Go see what happened
