Bartolomeo Vanzetti was a victim of the discriminatory way that the U.S.A. has a tendency to use towards immigrants. Born June 11th, 1888, in Italy, Bartolomeo was never destined to become more than a simple farmer or fisherman. However, at the age of 20 years, Bartolomeo moved to America and became a simple fish peddler. Having a simple job but a lot to learn, Bartolomeo became involved in politics. Being an immigrant, he was appalled at the way he had been treated, and the way many others were treated when immigrating to the United States. In result he went into left-wing politics and became an eventual anarchist.
After finding his 'calling', Bartolomeo began going to anarchist meetings and there he met his life long associate, Nicola Sacco, a fellow Italian. The two agreed on many things, and soon began attending meetings together quite often.
Unfortunately, after a few years of being activists, both men got involved with a murder.
