The Republicans want Sidney Blumenthal's deposition to be made public, and that he be questioned by the Senate jurors. In my opinion, this would probably be a great waste of time. I believe that Blumenthal has made it clear that he would be willing to lie, cheat, and steal in order to protect his liberal friends. And I believe he has had much practice at it over the years. I believe the Republicans have had less experience at lying, and are not as good at detecting it, and the Democrats, even though they can usually tell a lie, do not care. They obviously believe lying and perjury are acceptable for them, although definitely not for anyone else. It appears that much of the American public holds Republicans to a much higher standard than Democrats. Curious.
