QUANTUM NONLOCALITY IN THE ENFOLDING UNIVERSE
Preliminary Remarks
Much confusion in quantum physics results from the failure to understand light as an active force and not as radiant energy.( For a general discussion of the qwuantum theory, see the article Quantum Theory.) In the present article, the discussion is limited to nonlocality under the quantum theory. The so-called "discovery" that physical reality is "non-local" was really a product of a complete failure to understand the nature of light. Einstein felt that there must be a one-to-one correspondence between every element of a physical theory and the physical reality described by that theory. Under this viewpoint, all manifestations in the universe would be wholly predetermined by physical laws, with the future of any physical system being predictable in theory with percision and certainity. However, in a series of experiments testing predictions made by John S. Bell in a theory developed by him, physical reality was determined to be non-local. The findings of these experiments would be anticipated in the Enfolding Universe. In these experimernts light was assumed to be radiant energy, and scientists could not understand how quanta could be related together instantaneously and engaged in a form of communications not conceivable with light being radiant energy subject to the need to travel through time and space at the so-called velocity of light.
The Two-Slit Experiment
The two-slit experiment is discussed at greater length in the article Quantum Theory In the two-slit experiment, when both slits are opened, an electron seems to behave as a wave, with waves spread out spherically, coming together, and producing interference patterns that appear as patterns of light and dark on a detector. In this situation, as discussed under article Quantum Theory , an active force arises from either two or three points.. If only one slit is opened, no interference patterns are produced, with only an active force resulting from two points acting together. The electron is viewed by many scientists as a particle without wave-like attributes. This wave-particle dualism would be expected in the Enfolding Universe and is a result of how an active force operate. An electron does not exist as a particle in the Enfolding Universe and is a construct based upon particular attrubutes of unitons. See the article on Electromagnetism and the article on Unitons. In this respect it is similar to hydrogen that has a diatomic molecule comprised of two hydrogen atoms that are either centripetal or centrifugal in nature. Based upom how an active force operate, the phenomenon termed an electron take two forms, based upon how points of origination and of extinction work together.
The Bohr-Einstein Debate
In the Bohn-Einstein debate, Einstein took the position it was theoretically possible to measure, or at least to determine precise values for both the complementary constructs of position and momentum. Bohn`s position was generally accepted by the scientfic community, with Einstein thereafter accepting the uncertainity or indeterminacy principle as a fact of nature. The position of Einstin was based upon the principle of local causes or that a physical event cannot simultaneously influence another event withoutout direct mediation, such as sending a signal. Although Bohr has been treated as the winner, Einstein was clearly correct in believing that there should be correspondence between physical reality and physical theory. Because the connection between two events took place at a speed exceeding that of light, the relationship between quanta seemed to be a manifestation of quantum nonlocality and was established at a speed greater than that of light. The assumption is convoluted nonsence. A quantum is not a partical, and quanta do not constitute radiant energy. The connection between quanta is based upon the force fieid of which they are a part. An interconnection based upon forces leads to instantaneous communication between quanta independent of time and space.
