PROGRESSIVE NATURAL REFERENCE SYSTEM

Space and Time as Reciprocal Aspects of Motion

We have discussed four different natural referebce systems, any one of which might be used to explain and describe the phenomena in our segue. The progressive reference system, or a constantly progressing reference system, with unity being the apparent but illusory velocity of light, is the one used by Dewey Larson in his reciprocal theory. Under this theory, the scalar movement of the natural reference system gives rise to space and time as reciprocal aspects of motion. Measures of physical magnitudes are measures of units of time and space, and it is in this sense that the word reciprocal is used. The travel of the photon from a point of origin or "emission" gives rise to the progression of the natural reference system. The Unified Theory uses the term uniton to refer to the photon and treats the point of origin as a point of coincidence of forces. Under the reciprocal theory of Larson, the travel from the point of origin is apparently only outward or from the microcosm to the macrocosm, but under the Unified Theory the travel may be either outward or unward. Thereafter, spatial and temporal directional charges and combinations of the photon`s units of time and space give rise to all the other phenomena of our segue.

Space and Time as Derivative Aspects

Under the theory of the enfolding universe, space and time are not reciprocal aspects of motion. Motion results from the enfolding of forces with form, giving rise to matter and consciousness. Matter and consciousness springs from force in its enfolding with form. Although matter`s essence is motion, motion and matter are both derivative from the enfolding of forces with form. The recognition that matter is derivative does not inferfer with the utilization of the progressive reference system in explaining in appropriate situations the behavior of matter that arises from its being synclinal folds in an enfolding universe.

Coincidence and Merger

Under the Unified Theory, the photon or uniton originates or is emitted when a point of apparent origination of matter coincides with a point of apparent extinction of matter. Any point in space and time has an equal probability of becoming a point of apparent origination or apparent extinction and, for this reason, the same point might become both a point of apparent origination and apparent extinction, giving rise to an uniton. The centripetal force towards a point of apparent extinction contributers to the uniton what the reference system treats as its frequency, and the centrifugal movement from the point of apparent origination contributes to the uniton what the reference system treats as its velocity. In other words, the photon or uniton occurs when the force towards the microcosm coincides with the force towards the macrocosm.

Photon as a result of Coincidence of Forces

The Unified Theory refers to points of either apparent origination or apparent extinctions as montonic points and treats these sites as the location of montons. The theory refers to the points at which unitons are formed as unitonic points. Under the theory, the photon or uniton originates or is emitted when an outonic point or origination coincides with an intonic point of extinction. The centripetal force towards a point of apparent extiction contributes to the photon what the reference system treats as its frequency, and the centifugal movementof from the point of apparent origination contributes to the photon what the reference system treats as its velocity. In other words, a photon occurs when the force towards the microcosm coincides with the force towards the mascrocosm. At the point of coincidence, which is the point of union of montons, what a fixed the reference system construes as velocity in a segue microcosdmic as to our segue becomes in our segue what a fixed reference system construes as the frequency of a photon. The photon being an active force necessarily has no velocity or frequency under the progressive, recessional, or synchronous reference systems. The photon, thereafter, may either participate in the inward movement of matter towards the "black hole or participate in the outward movement and the natural progression of the reference system in our segue until the speed of recession of galaxies from each other exceeds the apparent velocity of light under a fixed reference system.

Inreased Distance Misconstrewed as Increased Velocity

Many astronomers believe that the speed of recession of galaxies will in time excceed that of light, with the light being lost in the intergalaxial space. What really happens is that where the distance between galaxies is so extended that a velocity greater than light is extrapolated, one galaxy has no capacity of communicating with the other galaxy, making it impossible for light to become manifested. It is the distance between the galaxies that make the manifestation of light impossible. It is also not true that as we go out into space we back into time. The recession of the galaxies is apparent only. Once communication between galaxies is established, we view events that are taking place in the present and not in the past. Frequency and velocity are both extrapolated from light as an active force, with velocity being extrapolated from light as an outward force and frequency being extrapolated from light as an inward force.

Photon as Effect of Conservation of Energy

The formation of a photon or an uniton in any segue, treated as the emission of light, is a result of the conservation of energy in any segue being dependent upon the two-way flow from and towards outonic and intonic points. It is partly the Unified Theory`s discovery of this principle that gives the theory its immense eplanatory and predictive compass and allows the theory to incorporate within its compass many existing principles of Newtonian and relativity physics, of Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry, and of commutative and non-commutative mathematics as well as being the reason that the theory is one of incorporation, unification, and simplification of many existing theories used by scientists, including incorporating and unifyiny gravity as an integral consequence of the theory.
