The Pledge
				When students join Youth to Youth, they have made the first step in making a healthy choice that they will not regret in years to come.
			THE YOUTH TO YOUTH PLEDGE I,                                  as an active member of Youth to Youth do genuinely and wholeheartedly swear to maintain and uphold the ideals of the Youth to Youth program. Not only do I believe in the program and it's worth, but I also belive in myself and my worth as a person. Therefore, I not formally state my commitment to stay free of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs throughout my involvement with the program.  (This excludes any use for religious or medical purposes.) I recognize the fact that as a member of Youth to Youth, my peers will be looking at me to set an example by making healthy choices.  I also realize this will not be an easy state to maintain, but I have a support network of friends in the program who will always be there for me in my times of need and DRUG-FREE HAPPINESS!!!                                                     (DATE) SIGNATURE                                                     (DATE) PROGRAM DIRECTOR'S SIGNATURE
