We washed out a set of rings running too rich and 5th gear in the 555 was whining and obviously we weren't having enough fun without a project. soo... Out the engine came for a 4th time.

This is where things started happening, like +40's a 3 bar map, FWD-P 16psi computer, The 16in Pumpers, braided fuel lines 3/8in from the tank forward, 255lb/hr fuel pump, BIG valved wildly ported head and a swap back to the 86 slider cam. The car also received a BUILT A413 automatic out of an 88 lebaron, well this wasn;t "Built" enough and came apart in a big chunk of metal, diff came apart took out the carrier and hit the case, cracked the case and chewed all the gears into nothing. You should have seen the carnage, so in went a better built 413 from A&B trans in Langley. these guys build race transmissions for strip only cars and happened to have a couple SD's kicking around. car now has .96 transfer gears and a 3.05 diff, plus a shift kit as the manual valve body SUCKS on the street. Heres what the car is like engine wise today.

After reading about the success yamaha had with crank evac systems on their F series bikes and gaining 10hp I decided to vent the crankcase a bit better. heres one of the vents through the fuel pump block off plate. Note the 110amp alternator. Needed on the street with underdrive pulleys
Custom 3 core rad and 15in electric fan. setup works nicely
<--- I didn't like the looks of that restrictive elbow, so I cut it off and welded the flange back on like this with the 52MM TB, Note the turbo valve cover broke so I now have a better cast TBI unit
Big valved head vs. oldschool 782 stock head
The Blue cars engine as it is at present. Lots of little mods, can you pick them all out?  ---------->
Uggghhh.. Intercooler hose setup is soon to change. so is the rad, I/C setup. Needs some work, make the car more efficient
very very cobbled, I need to do some cleaning
