When you hook your flash drive to your computer it should register on the desktop like "sva1". If it does not then look on the back of the box that your flash drive came in and see if it is compatible with ubuntu. If it is then do these steps. turn off the computer with the flash drive in. If it asks you if you whant to boot off of it, select no. If it is still on the desktop then you may have to download a new bios. To do this go to www.google.com and type your computers motherboard's name in the search box. Then find the motherboards newest bios driver and download it. It should work now. |
