I have 3 boys. Are they Wiccan ? No. I have many Wiccan friends ask me why not. This culture of ours is full of people that just hated having their parents beliefs forced on them, I'll not do that. They are how ever taught MOST all other beliefs and they go to different churches with others,, and are free to choose. I am of the notion they were put here for a reason, one that they planned before they became my children, this will make it easier to do what they were meant for. My oldest is in this third year of college and he is heading toward politics. Studying English Lit, Political science,Theology, journalism and wants to be a writer. He also does stand up comedy. ( Like mother like son!)
This year will be his last in the classroom. He will be traveling learning Arabic, and Russian for two years. The two younger ones skateboard, and add to my medical bills.
Politics? I'm an Independent. You will never catch me talking politics in mixed company. My thoughts on this subject are my own, and not debatable. I might listen when people talk politics, but I never enter into it.
I was brought up in Ohio, and in the little country Baptist church. It was a nice little church my Welsh forefathers est. in the late 1700's. I have a strong tie to my past of Welsh decent. I didn't have to trace my past, our family keeps excellent records. It's a huge family! . My father was of French and Indian decent, and raised me on Atlantis and Edgar Cayce, and to avoid any organized religion. My whole family knows about me and they ask very good questions, I am to be the character of the family! I am very close to all the family and set up the reunions every year. I did not choose this path because of a bad experience with my church it was a good church and good people. It was just not meant to be, I had a different calling is all. No one was surprised at a young age when I would go to the woods and bare my soul to the wind, and all would feel well then.
My father now passed, is here always, and he tries to lead me (key word tries) Since I first wrote this my mother has passed as well. I have some talents in seeing and hearing spirits, nothing worth bragging about however. Well there you go, Vestas in a nut shell. Always searching, always learning, and doing so with an open mind.
