LIEUTENANT CONWAY HONORED AS POLICE OFFICER OF THE YEAR BY WINTER GARDEN ELKS LODGE 2165 ON MARCH 29TH, 2008 |

Lieutenant Paul Conway was awarded Police Officer of the Year by the Winter Garden Elks Lodge 2165 on March 29, 2008. The award was presented at the Elks' Annual Charity Ball where thousands of dollars are raised for charity. Joining Lieutenant Conway for the awards ceremony were (left to right): Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn, Mr. Lawrence Conway, Mrs. Doreen Conway, Windermere Town Manager Cecilia Bernier, and Windermere Police Chief Daniel Saylor.

POLICE OFFICER GOLDEN HONORED AT SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2007 COUNCIL MEETING |

|
Chief Dan Saylor , Town Manager Cecilia Bernier and Mayor Gary Bruhn honor Officer Ned Golden at the September 11th Town Council Meeting. While stopping a speeding motorist Officer Golden was told that the driver's eight year old daughter had taken an overdose of prescription medication. Realizing that the victim was not breathing, Officer Golden performed CPR and called for emergency services saving the life of the young girl. |

THREE WINDERMERE POLICE OFFICERS HONORED AT FEBRUARY 13TH, 2007 COUNCIL MEETING |

|
Chief Dan Saylor and Mayor Gary Bruhn honor Captain Vincent Bounocore for his "above and beyond the call of duty" efforts. While off duty, the Captain was one of the first to arrive upon the scene of an accident and immediately took charge insuring that the victim received first aid until help arrived. |

Mayor Gary Bruhn and Chief Dan Saylor congratulate Sargeant Paul Conway (left) and Officer Dale Wesenberg (right). When these two members of "Windermere's finest" were called to The Manors, they came upon an individual in cardiac arrest. They immediately sprung into action and using the defibrillator in their police vehicle, restored the victims heartbeat and saved the individual's life. |
