Norvan Falls Stepping into light I’m swept by feelings that can’t be denied, Wild water’s passionate cadenza Becomes frozen in time, Its soothing touch guiding my heart I cross the bridge From my reality to a mystical realm Where cypress and cedars grow On dormant mountains caressed by water And wild vines climb up to the sky I am seduced by earth’s essence, Its touch becoming rhythm of pounding waves, Their gentle mist, a kiss upon my face… I wrap myself in silver dress of liquid lace And float atop the water The light expands outward Encompassing all my dreams, Keeping me in balance …until I become the light, A child of water, sky and wind I’m floating with the waves Powered by sun, moon and stars, On their way to find a shore, Allowing my mind to sing with their music … and rest photography by Russ Sawdon |
