She's my helpmate. She cares. She's been with me through thick and thin.
I believe we're soul mates. So many times we don't even have to speak. It's as though we can read each other's minds. A look, a touch, that says it all.
She makes me feel loved, wanted, needed, and important. As if I'm somebody and my thoughts and feelings really matter. She's helped me to grow as a person in so many ways.
She has made me more thoughtful, more understanding, more patient, and more compassionate towards other people. She's done this by means of her love and by example.
She's my heroine. I respect her thoughts, her opinions, her outlook on life in general. She's everything I'd like to be. She makes me reach, to strive to do better, to be more than I am.
She's a good person. We both have some pretty serious medical problems, but though her determination, her fortitude and her attitude, I find the strength and courage to carry on.
So much of what I am and what I'm becoming stems from her. She's helped mold me into more of a complete person.
She's saved me from becoming a lonely, bitter person. It's almost as if she has given birth to me.
Through her love, I've stepped from the darkness of dispair into the light of happiness. Into the world of sharing, caring, and loving.
If I would have even one regret, it would be the fact that I didn't meet her sooner in my life. What I'm trying to say is "I Love My Sweetheart because" she is who and what she is. And I will continue to love her every day for the rest of my time on Earth.
